"Faye's daily words of encouragement"# 94 Todays word is: Purge"

Let's purge ourselve of all the sins and iniquities, we carry inside our temples of God.
Let's purge ourselve of all the sins and iniquities, we carry inside our temples of God.

"Faye's daily words of encouragement"# 94 Todays word is : Purge"

Definition of the word Purge: To purify from sin, to get rid of something, or to make clean from the inside.

Matthews chapter 3 - 12 :  whose fan is in the hand, and he will thoroughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

Hebrews chapter 9 -14 : How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal spirit offered himself without spot to God,  purge your conscience from dead works to serve.

Isaiah chapter 22 -14 :  And it was revealed  in mine ears by the Lord of host, surely this iniquity shall not be purged  from you till ye did,  saith the Lord God of host.

Psalms chapter 51 - 7: Purge me with hyssops, and I shall be clean, wash me and I shall be whiter than snow.

2 Timothy chapter 2-21-22 : If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto ho nor, sanctified, and meet for the masters use, and prepared unto every good work. 22: Flee youthful lust: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

To purge  means to get rid of something , to cleanse ourselves and purify our bodies from sin.  We can purge ourselves by prayer and doing the right things in Jesus name. If we pray and ask God to cleanse and purify of our sins and iniquity, he will do it, because he's true to his word.  I think King David was the most truest purger in the bible ; that ever lived. King David did a lot of praying and purging himself of wrong doings by asking God for his forgiveness. I call King David a true purger, because when ever he repented; he did it form his heart: That's why God said he was a man after his own heart.

We all have to follow King  David's example and truly cleanse ourselves; from  a life of ungodliness. We need to get rid of sin, sinful ways and actions, and do a new thing in Christ, by cleaning ourselves from the inside out; by purging ourselves of all the filth, and dirtiness we carry inside of all of us.
