"Faye's Daily Words Of Encouragement # 147 Today's Word Is: Grow"

Definition of the word Grow: To come to be: to increase, to cultivate.

Isaiah chapter 53 - 2 : For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of dry ground with grief: he hath no form nor comeliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we shall desire him.

Matthews chapter 13 -30 :Let both grow together until harvest: and in time of harvest I will say to the reapers, gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into the barn.

Ephesians chapter 2 - 21 : In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord.

Ephesians chapter 4 -15 But speaketh the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head even Christ.

2 Peter chapter 3 - 18 : But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory, forever. Amen

Jeremiah chapter 12 - 3 : Thou hast planted them, yea thy have taken root: they grow near in their mouths, and far from their reins.

Today's daily words of encouragement word is Grow, we all grow in the grace of God. But as babies, we grow in our mother's womb, then once we're born; we grow into a toddler, then to puberty, on to adolescent, to teens and to adulthood. But we as godly parent have the responsibility to teach our children the correct way to grow in the grace of God...by teaching the true knowledge of Gods Word. we have to live and teach them Gods word ; and what they need to do, to be saved in this world of sin.

If we teach our children at a young age the word of God; they will grow up with the true knowledge of God and will not stray. They will grow up to be loving and godly children with God as the center of their life, and they will know how to live godly lives and they will teach their children the same doctrine. This is how to keep our children growing in the knowledge of God, so we don't have to be worried about their souls or their dedication to God our father in heaven.

creativeone59: Your hub is so true. A belief system for the young is vitally important to how they grow. "Bend a sapling while it is young in the way it should grow". Great hub

Veronica, id we don't teach our children the truth, they can be mislead by men and false prophets, so it's best to be safe than sorry. Thank you so much for all your positive comments and feedback. I really appreciate you.Godspeed. creativeone59

Growth is so vital when it comes to everything, especially spirtuality. I agree creativeone, teaching our children God's word is just as important (if not more) as teaching them other life skills that will help them succeed in life. Thanks for another great reminder!
