Few more miracles of Saibaba!

Updated on March 23, 2013

Saibaba in Prasanthi Nilayam!

His manifestations in different places!

Events which can not be explained are classified as 'paranormal' or metaphysics. Miracles too come under this category since we can not explain it within the ambit of physical laws! His physical form was at Venkatagiri in Andhra Pradesh. Even while conversing with the people around, Saibaba has manifested in a devotee's home in Manjeri in Kerala state which is far away from Venkatagiri. A devout man was living at Manjeri and he was an ardent devotee of Saibaba. He used to follow the teachings of Saibaba implicitly and following a spiritual schedule which included regular meditation, Bhajans etc. Many neighbors used to join in the congregational worship. One day when this devotee was preparing for ritual worship, he was astonished to find Saibaba entering his house. He was taken aback at the sudden blessing since all devotees considered Saibaba's physical presence in their home as a special blessings. Soon words went around and many nearby devotees gathered and there was Bhajan as usual and Saibaba himself has waved the camphor lights. Saibaba said he will stay there in their house that night. The devotee exerted himself in providing the tiffin and meals to his dear Lord. A nice bed was prepared for the resting of the Lord.

The next morning, the family wanted to give an elaborate 'oil bath' to Saibaba. They boiled water, anointed Saibaba with the oil and he was given a sumptuous bath. After break fast, there was spiritual talk by Saibaba and many devotees gathered at the place as usual. The programe went on uninterrupted and the following morning Saibaba told them "I am leaving, do not follow me! He came outside the house and vanished in thin air. Meanwhile he was verily at the palace at Venkatagiri conversing with the devotees there and clearing their doubts in spiritual topics. Finding the unusual happening, the editor of the house journal at Puttaparthi, got the information verified from many persons at the palace as well as the devotees in Kerala. Every one vouched that Saibaba came to the house of a devotee at Manjeri and stayed for more than 24 hours and participated in all spiritual events!

Now a different miracle. John Sinclair was a millionaire running many business around Connecticut. When he was confronted with many problems in business, he was loitering in the upstairs veranda of his huge mansion. Suddenly he saw a peculiar personality with afro hair style walking in the hall of ground floor. Sinclair could not believe it since all the doors are bolted inside and there was heavy security around. In the mid of night, how an outsider can roam freely in the hall? But Sinclair felt a very peculiar peace descending on him. The man downstairs was wearing an orange silk gown. On another occasion also, the same thing happened. The strange man was found walking in the hall downstairs while Sinclair was worried much due to many problems. Again after seeing him, he found a peculiar peace. The man vanished soon. After many years Sinclair came to know about Sathya Saibaba in a book stall and strangely the man who strolled in his house on two occasions was none but Saibaba since the photo on the books coincided exactly with the intruder. Soon he started reading the wonderful incarnation in India and he was anxious to visit Saibaba in person. Fortunately, Sinclair reached Prasanthi Nilayam and had a personal interview with Saibaba. Saibaba told him "I have visited you twice in your house! "Why don't you help me? Sinclair was eager to help in the mission of Saibaba. But Baba told him "Be happy, that is all, I want from you! Sinclair was taken back at the limitless love exhibited by Saibaba!

I would like to clarify that in both the above cases, Saibaba manifested himself even while he was in a different place physically. While Sinclair saw Baba in his house in Connecticut, Saibaba was very much in India and he has never moved out! Hence, this clearly proves that Saibaba is not limited to the five feet physical body, he assumed. His eyes and ears are everywhere and hence he could extend the required help instantaneously in any corner of the globe!

Most of us are enamored by the so called miracles while Swami treat them as his visiting cards. Swami has said once that the transformation of the mind of man is his greatest miracle. He never forces it. He makes man to realize the Truth by observing his life and the service projects which he has undertook for the welfare of the mankind.. Thank you for the nice comments.

Miracle is the event that happens against the laws of science isn't it? Swami tried to teach us about His cosmic form for decades but many of us needed Him in physical form for getting acknowledgements for our acts !
