GalaxyRat is fond of rats and writing. And dark poetry. She knows that people don't like all these things together... but who cares?

A guardian angel is an angel God has provided for you to watch over you. Even though God can watch over you completely fine on His own, it is still comforting to know someone else is also on your side.

What Are Guardian Angels?

As explained on the photo to the right, guardian angels are angels assigned to watch out for you. Many people believe in these types of angels, and I do as well, being a Christian. I have not studied angels as throughly as some, but I do know a little about them. What do you think about Guardian angels? Do you think they are real?

How Do I Know My Guardian Angel Is Watching Out For Me?

Well, it all plays out to how you look at it. Do you think angels are real? If no, why? If yes, do you think some look out for you? If yes to this question, then you believe, if no, then you don't. It's as simple as that.

Some say you can feel your angel. Still others say your angel can send you messages.. I don't think they can directly send you messages, as that's God's job. But if you think so, give us some instances below! We would all love to hear them!

How to Find Out Your Angel's Name

Yes, your angel has a name. That is, if you believe you have one. So, how do you figure it out?

Well, if you are Christian, the process is simple. Just set aside a part in your day (where you can look forward to it) and approach it feeling relaxed. Pray to God and ask Him to reveal your angel's name to you. Sit in a quiet place and wait for a name to come to you. Even if it sounds strange, accept it when it comes, and if it doesn't, then God just wants to do what's best for you. Don't be discouraged.

If you are not Christian, try a similar method, but ask your angel instead. Or study the Bible and ask God.

What Is Your Angel Name?

I believe mine is "Yaden", which sounds a lot like Yahweh. Maybe that's God's way of telling me that He looks over me. Do you know what Yaden means? What is your angel's name, and what does it mean (if you know it's meaning)?

Have fun! This is truly a great connection to God, and to angels, but remember, angels cannot take God's place in your heart.

Yes, I believe in some way animals can be our angels. They can be one way that God is using to comfort and guide you!

I like to think my cats are my little guardian angels. When I am feeling ill (I have MS), they lay with me patiently and lovingly. They have helped me through some of the worst times simply by being present.
