When Was Lucufer's Fall From Heaven

Lucifer's name meant "morning star" which changed after his fall from heaven. Morning star meant, he was of brightness and beauty. He was an anointed Cherub, a powerful cherubim that helped to cover the throne of God. Cherubims are of the higher class of angelic beings that attend and minister to God continually in worship and priestly duties. They are among first creations of God.

Lucifer was in the presence of God but he wasn't satisfied with worshiping God, he wanted to be worshiped. He wanted above all, the full right and power to govern without any interference from God. Complete dominion, supreme power and authority was what he desired.

So, it stands to say that earth was created when heaven was created! Lucifer was created then too. He wanted earth, not because it was beautiful but because he wanted earth to be his kingdom to rule. Since God never gave him that chance, he decided to convince other angels to see earth as their kingdom.

Now he is really out of line, just how evil can one become? He rose up in rebellion against God and God commanded the Archangel Michael and his angels to bring Lucifer and his followers down before the force of evil spread towards the whole heaven. In his fall from heaven he took a third of the angels with him.

The force of evil was strong and it conquered the physical realm, there was chaos, and instilled darkness. Because of this, God destroyed everything that was living and green on the earth. Now the once morning star Lucifer, became Satan the adversary.

Lucifer's 5 "I Will's"

1. I will ascend to heaven

2. I will set my throne on high

3. I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north

4. I will ascend above the heights of the clouds

5. I will make myself like the Most High

— Isaiah 14:12-14

Who Was Kicked Out of Heaven

The Period between Gen. 1:1 and Gen:1:2, the prehistoric period if you will. God created the universe and the world as secular scientists state, then destroyed all the life and started over at Genesis 1:2. The Gap Theory (also called "ruin-restoration creationism") modern science's interpretation of the data provided in nature. They believed that geology proves the earth is millions of years old

What Scripture Leads to Lucifer's Eviction

These are verses that are associated with Lucifer's fall from heaven: I Will… Take Gods place... Lucifer was determined to ascend into heaven, he sought to move into the third heaven, the dwelling place of God.

  • Ascend into heaven Acts 1:9-11
  • Exalt my throne Rev. 22:1
  • Govern heaven Isa. 2:1-4
  • Ascend above the heights Phil. 2:9
  • Be like the Most High Gen. 14:19, 22

Satan had much against him on his plate.

There are at least six judgments associated with Satan:

  1. He was barred from his original privileged position in Heaven (Ezekiel 28:16).
  2. Judgment for his temptation of Adam and Eve (Genesis 3:14-15).
  3. At the cross of Calvary (John 12:31).
  4. Satan will be barred from Heaven during the tribulation period (Revelation 12:13).
  5. Satan will be confined to the abyss during the millennium (Revelation 20:2).
  6. At the conclusion of the millennium, Satan will be cast into the lake of fire for all eternity (Revelation 20:10). (Excerpts from A SURVEY OF BIBLE DOCTRINE, by Charles C. Ryrie, p. 94)

What About The Three Heavens

In the beginning, when heaven and earth was first created, before the creation of man; Satan was thrown from the presence of God to the second heaven. See Isaiah 14:12-14; Ezekiel 28:12-15; Ephesians 6:10-12.

There are 3 heavens: The first heaven is the atmosphere around planet earth, what we call the sky. It bears witness to God’s existence, to His creative power and to His everlasting glory. It is the universe we see with our natural eyes: the sun, the stars, the moon and countless celestial wonders

The second heaven is what we call outer space where some astronauts have gone. It is also known as the celestial heaven or the stellar heaven. This heaven includes the sun, moon, and stars. Genesis 22:17 proves there is a second heaven.

It is the throne room of the fallen one Lucifer, he was thrown there by the Archangel Michael. It is the battleground where Satan’s dark forces battle God’s forces of light. This supernatural battle is real and the aim of the enemy is to keep as many of us away from belief in God’s Word as possible.

The third heaven, Jesus called Paradise and also God’s dwelling place. Jesus promised the criminal on the cross at His crucifixion that: “Today you will be with me in paradise” (Luke 23:43), in the presence of God together. Heaven is call the new Jerusalem. The Apostle Paul visited there and returned unable to describe it. “No mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.”

Who Has Dominion of The Earth

God destroyed everything living and green from the beginning due to the spread of evil through Satan, it was God's dominion alone. There were giants and prehistoric creatures before creation time. After the destruction, God started over with the 6 day creation.

He created mankind, Adam and Eve in God's own image and gave dominion to Adam. They were told that any tree could be eaten from with the exception of the tree of knowledge, the tree of good and evil. There was a warning that accompanied that statement, God said, "in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die” (Gen. 2:17).

Now, Eve disobeyed God through the trickery of the serpent, she ate from the tree and so did Adam. Dominion was transferred to Satan. Mankind is now the slave and Satan is now the master. This was a big debt to pay and man could not pay.

Today, Satan is the ruler of this world, and is called the "prince of the power of the air" (John 12:31; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Ephesians 2:2). He is also called "the accuser" (Revelation 12:10), he tempts humans to sin against God as he did (Matthew 4:3; 1Thessalonians 3:5), and he deceives humanity about the truth, especially the truth about God Himself (Genesis 3; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 20:3).

He lies about God's character and purposes, he tells fallen humanity that it can save itself without God's grace, and he does all he can to separate us from God and undermine God in our eyes, using his powers of deception. Actually, the name "satan" means "adversary" or "one who opposes." He is also known as "the devil", which means "slanderer."

Then because that isn’t enough, the only other way to pay him back is by becoming his slave and giving time and service. In this case, the debt was so big that it affected all of Adam’s descendants. Adam couldn’t pay back the debt in his lifetime, so it carried over to his children, and his children’s children.

It would have carried on from generation to generation for all eternity until someone could have paid back the value of what was damaged. In fact, the only way for humanity to be bought back was by God sending His Son to buy us back from iniquity and purify us (Titus 2:14).

Who was Jesus buying people back from? Their owner, Satan. Romans 5:19 says, “For as by one man’s disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.”
