God is your source of everything you need, in the same way he wants you to be changed but it is you who determines your way of life or success.

Fish

The omega-3 fatty acids found in fish work wonders for your brain. Eating more cold-water fish, for example like salmon, sardines and herring or taking fish oil capsules can you omega 3 that your body needs.

Fortified breads and cereals.

Low levels of folate, a B vitamin have also been linked to depression. Besides fortified breads and cereals. You can find folate in legumes, seeds, and dark green leafy vegetables. Folic acid supplements are also available.

Green tea. Sip a cup of this soothing beverage. Theanine, an amino acid in green tea, helps calm your brain.

Saffron. A small Chinese studies found this staple tradition in Mayan Medicine to be really effective in treating a mild depression.       Very good information! And it is very true as well from one who knows from experience. Something else that helps, but can be very difficult is to get up and move and get the blood circulating in you body to flow to your brain. Depression is a viscious cycle that can be very hard to break out of--do NOT forget prayer and crying out to God! Thank you for this information.
