Remember, we were the ones who were lost; not God
The Aguelmim lake, Tikjda, Algeria.
God is well aware of our problems but needs our invitation
(Jeremiah 29: 10-14) God will never intervene in your situation if you don’t invite him. Prayer is an invitation to divine intervention . Your situation will remain the same until you pray. Though God has given a promise; prayer has to go forth so as to unlock this promise. The promises are there but they have to be prayed for and through. We must note that prayer is what brings agreement between what God has decreed in heaven and what actually happens on earth. If you call upon him he will listen to you. If you want to see the move of God, pray.

Take ample time in your prayer to exhaustively express yourself
(Mark 11:23-24) When you pray good things happen. The reason you are not seeing any change in your life is because you are not faithful in your prayer life. It’s not always easy to pray but rest assured that it is necessary to do so because this is the only sure way to communicate to the almighty God. The length of your prayer will indicate your seriousness with God. Maybe you have ever spotted people who take a second or two to pray for their food in a restaurant. Yes, they look more religious than the rest of us who just dive into our lunch, but is such a short prayer really worth it? What would happen if you took the same amount of time to communicate to your earthly friend? Will you really make yourself understood? It seems logical to give God ample time to understand your issue. Pray for a reasonable duration of time. Don’t be in a hurry when you are seeking God’s intervention.
