God's Justice and Faithfulness to his Children
God is Just and Faithful
Our God is a God of justice; He is undoubtedly an impartial God. For about 400 years, Israel served the Egyptians with rigor and hard labor. They abused and exploited them. They even placed taskmasters over them and reduced them literarily to slaves. They defrauded them in every way possible but on the night of Passover, God will not permit them to leave empty.
That night was not only a night of deliverance; it was equally a night of blessing. The Lord gave Israel favor in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required and they spoiled Egypt. They borrowed from them jewels of silver, gold and raiment. Everyone that asked that night received. They asked and asked until Egypt was spoiled. God has not told the house of Jacob to seek him in vain. No one ever served God and regretted it for He is just.
This day dear God, We appeal to your Justice that you grant us according to all our heart desires and since you the almighty one cannot be spoiled, we believe that you will even do more than we ask for. Amen
