I say out loud, what others only think. I take great pleasure in expressing hardcore truth about awkward situations at Misscue's Hubpages.

I yam what I yam. Popeye the Sailor Man

Hello, Your Almightiness...

It's me again, you know who...MissCue! Well, that's the name I go by, here on the Hubpages. It's my user name, not my birth name. It's how people know me here. I use a couple of other nicknames too. Nicknames are something that we are either given by others, or they are a name that we come up with on our own. Nicknames on the internet are an ideal method for anonymity.

But to most, we are all known by our birth names, which brings me to my subject for the day.

Your true name, "Yahweh", (YHWH)... can be translated as "I am who I am."

God said to Moses, "I AM WHO I AM. This is what you are to say to the Israelites: These words are apparently supposed to represent absolute, and therefore unchanging and eternal Being.

Sounds strangely similar to Popeye, the sailor man....

"I-yam what I-yam".....~~toot-toot~~

Now, that's my

Your names

So, today I've been thinking about Your names...and how many different ones You have.

What does G.O.D. stand for anyway? Perhaps some sort of acronym ? I came up with a few possible acronyms for what Your name may stand for... Let's see here. Let me know if I get close at all.

  1. Group Operations Director

  2. Guide of Destiny

  3. Giver of Data

  4. Grand Omnipotent Divinity

  5. Generate, Organize, Destroy

  6. Generator of Dimensions

  7. Government of Destruction

  8. Grand Order of Design

  9. Guard on Duty

  10. Guaranteed Overnight Delivery

  11. Guardian of Darkness

  12. Getting Off Drugs

  13. Group Of Drunks

Some of those are more probable than others. I'll leave any sarcastic comments out though, this time!

....Oh, Grantor Of Deafening Silence.......Yes, I know... I'm kinda reaching on that one. Although, perhaps, it is the most fitting of names.

Well, in conclusion, I would like to express how my confusion prompted this 'shout out' to You. Hope to hear from You soon ....and again...

Thanks for listening!
