Grandmama Zen: when a cloud dissipates

Updated on November 25, 2013

Grandmama Zen is a series dedicated to raising the vibration of a lonely grandmother and others in the doldrums. Raised vibrations mean increased love. Love requires understanding.

What is an appropriate mantra for this day of light snow?

No snowflake is unique?

"No two snowflakes are alike" is a fallacy. This truth does not diminish my appreciation of its crystal pattern. Being part of a whole can be transforming. Or not.

What is an appropriate mantra for this day of light snow?

"Love all around me..."

Thoughts on water

When the rains fall in the spring
When winter snows cascade down upon us

do they miss their cloud community?

Has there been a burst of emotion within
causing their crystals to transform
even as Masaru Emoto's water changes

would it be possible to study an individual crystal
to determine its emotion upon falling away
from all it knew inside the cloud community?

perhaps a cumulo-nimbus cloud ejects angry crystals
while those within a cirrus are ethereal

would torrents of rain reduce their speed
if human beings on the ground concentrated thoughts
of love

do rain crystals shaping happy emotion respond
differently when released from their cloud community

When a squirrel runs across fallen snow, creating tracks, do the thoughts of the squirrel communicate to all those around the crushed crystals? Might we learn what the squirrel truly thinks by analyzing the resulting crystal patterns? Are they living entities or are they unable to change, frozen into the word formations that first settled them into the cloud as water vapor?

If a frozen water crystal can reshape itself while in the presence of music, is it possible that it transforms itself while in the presence of laughing children?

I wonder if a water crystal experiences distress when a snowmobile passes by, spewing exhaust?

And what of water that has been absorbed into me? Does it take on the emotions of those around me? Or does it simply expand my own until I become enmeshed in loneliness or sadness or JOY?

If the water crystals inside these girls are immersed in JOY, do they reach out and touch the edges of the pond, extending into its depths?

I believe water crystals all around us reflect what each of us are thinking and experiencing.

Eddy, I have been editing a novel I began years ago, which distracts me from Hubpages. You commented two months ago; I imagine the world around you awakens green. Hugs and I hope all is well, Barb

Ed, I can't believe how much compliments are appreciated, even by a blind Hubber, ha. I do not feel beautiful today- only murky, like a swamp.

      Liquid flight? Nice.

It occurs to me this Hub offers a pretty good poetry prompt. Thanks for returning me to and deepening past moments and lightening the present! Barb

Hey beautiful ! Water ice and snow ! You remind me of swimming , when alone and no ones looking , we swirl our hands in the water and imagine liquid flight ! Or standing in the silent night with snow falling softly and sticking out our tongues to catch the flakes , you are very spiritual , yes ?.....Ed
