Have You Ever Been As Weary As Jesus Was?

Updated on May 3, 2013

Have You Ever Been As Weary As Jesus Was?

Have you ever been so weary ,ever been so hurt and full of pain,

You wondered if the time would come when you could smile again ?

Have you ever depended on the Lord for your strength to supply ?

You could not make it on your own, it would be no use to even try.

Have you ever thought how Jesus must have felt that last terrible day?

He had such great pain and weariness as He slowly made His way.

He knew all that lay ahead and He knew He would make it through.

This would be freedom's greatest price that this world ever knew.

Thank God !He lives today in this world as an anchor for us to hold.

Such Love that He has for us could neither be bought or sold .

Without the Lord and without His hope what would mere man do?

Thank you Dear Jesus .for the greatest Love, A Holy gift so true !

If you should ever find yourself so weary so down and sick at heart,

Every day seems so painful that you don't know where to start

Remember then how the Savior suffered while here with us below,

Yield your heart to Him, the strongest Anchor you could ever know!

Clara Kish

In all of your time of sickness and sorrow just

remember what Jesus went through to bring

His gift of Love to us from His Heavenly Father.

Jesus ' Love was so great for us that He went

through a horrible death to bring Peace and

Love to those who would be willing to come

to Him and live a life that is what His Father

had planned for man ,a life without spot or

blemish, but Satan stepped in and changed

the plan then, God knew back then that man

would not live a sin free life .God had given

man a free will because He wanted man to

worship Him ,not because he had to .When

we surrender to Jesus there is no doubt why

we do it then,It is for the Love of God !

Hello MsDora, While I am writing to other people on here I am talking to myself too,I don't think there is anyone on here that needs an Anchor worse than I do. We have come too far to even think about going back in these last days ,there is nothing there what I would want to go back to. I don't know how some folks make it these days without Jesus to depend on. Always good to hear from you . Love,Clara

MsClara, I am convinced that your thoughts are inspired, and in turn, they inspire your readers. Thanks for pointing me to the "Strongest Anchor." I need Him every day, every hour, every minute.

Hello Blossom, yes, it seems like the older we get the more weary we are.We can take all kind of pills to make you feel like you are full of vim and vigor but when you are old nothing is going to make you feel young again. We just have to press on and do what we are able to for God and the Kingdom .Work till we get to the point where we can't work anymore. We hope God will call us before we get to that point.Love, Clara

As we grow older we sometimes become weary and look forward to a time when we reach the other side, but while we have the energy it is our responsibility to do everything we can to share God's love.
