Have a praying prayerful "Prayer Party"

You know how you will be invited over for parties that maybe for a birthday, or an engagement, or graduation? Well why not have a praying party?

Why not invite those who are prayer worriors over to pray, pray for the sick or in need? There are those who even will have shawls that are to give to those who are sick or in need. Like giving them a blanket of comforting love? Yes, it is. Prayer will heal you inside and out and lead you into the right direction when you need it. All you need to do is have faith and want to develop it.

Your theme is to pray for all healing. As your quest to come with scripture to be read, people in mind who need prayer and place their names into a basket. The names really dont need to be read aloud. If you prefer to keep the people names in secret, then do so and do not have the basket.

If you have people that have made items such as shawls, pillow cases, pocket shawls or small blankets...this can be prayed over by everyone before giving them these gifts. The prayer that is placed upon the items through the love of JESUS will give the recipients comfort and joy. Thus pulling up their sprits. And it will do the same for you when you see the smiles on their faces.

Once the praying and bible reading has been done if you choose to serve any kind of refreshments it can be done then. Having people over who are like minded who love the LORD not only give you a spritual positive energy charge but everyone who has attended your gathering. This could be done all year round.

Keeping in touch with everyone, seeing how they are doing. Attending a saved church by GODS standing is always good, but having a "Prayer Party" can be a good thing too. Make sure you have the children involved too, they learn from the parents on how to worship and be right unto GOD.
