He gives me chills... They are good chills ... But chills none the less.
He gives me chills.
Just the simple fact that they are His words. Words spoken from our God, in His manner and with His purpose. It gives me chills ... They are good chills but still chills. There are times when He makes Himself so very obvious. God has graced us with His words and His lessons for all of us. From the parables to the sermon on the mount to the be attitudes to all of the teachings of Jesus. I believe it is quite apparent the kind of person He wants us to be. Ultimately, He wants us to be like Him. Still, He knows that all of us are sinners and are so very far from that. We all fall mightily short of that ideal. We are indeed so very human. Yet, He loves us with all of His heart and even shows us how to love each other. What an incredible God that we have. How is it that all of us can take Him for granted so very much? I am always in complete awe of our Lord. He always knows what is better for us even better than we know ourselves. His timing is always absolute perfection. His purpose is impeccable. His example is just plain incredible. Most of all His love is entirely enormous. His mercy is undeniable. We are indeed His children and He wants us to come to Him with everything. We always try to do things in our way and in our time. Isn't it about time that we start doing things in His way and in His time. Don't ever be too busy for God as He is never too busy for you. You know that He is super busy but He always makes time for us. Not sometimes but always. He is the ultimate teacher and He teaches us with His magnificent love.
Here are some Bible verses on teaching:
Luke 17:21 For indeed the kingdom of God is within you.
Mark 4:33 And with many such parables He spoke the word to them as they were able to hear it. But without a parable He did not speak to them. And when they were alone, He spoke all things to His disciples.
Matthew 19:26 But Jesus looked at them and said to them, " With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible."
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all kinds of sickness and all kinds of disease among the people.
Matthew 5:20 For I say to you , that unless your righteousness exceeds the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you will by no means enter the kingdom of Heaven.
John 7:16 Jesus answered them and said, " My doctrine is not Mine, but His who sent Me.
Mark 1:15 "The time is fulfilled, and the Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel."
Matthew 22:31 But concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read what was spoken to you by God, saying, "I am the God of Abraham, The God of Isaac and the God of Jacob." God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. And when the multitudes heard this, they were astonished at His teaching.
Matthew 21:42 Have you never read in the scriptures, "The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief cornerstone. This was the Lord's doing, and it is marvelous in our eyes."
God bless always.
