Why Prophet Muhammad is my Hero?
Prophet Mohammad is my Hero
He is my Hero
Prophet Mohammad (peace and bless be upon him) is the last messenger of Allah. He brought last message from Allah to the world and his message is universal, it is not special to specific people. In the Quran we can get a lot of verses supporting that the message is to all creations no matter their color, their ethnicity, or their country. Allah says:" Blessed is He who has sent down the Discrimination to His servant, that he may be a Warner to all the worlds."(25:2)
He was born in Mecca in 570 or 571, we don't know exactly what year because didn't the year the way we use today. They marked or count the year as events so he was born the year of elephant, the year that Abraha invaded to the Holy Mosque (Mecca). His grandfather Abdulmudalib was the leader that time as his great grandfather was before. He is descendent of Prophet Abraham and then Ismail. His father died while still his mother was pregnant for him and his name was Abdullah. His mother's name is Amina bintu Wahab and she died while he was still kid. The prophet became orphan since both his mother and father died so his uncle Abdulmudalib raised and took care of him until he became strong man. He grew illiterate, unable to read and write and his people were ignorant before he became a prophet. He was trusted by his people and called him trustworthy also he was very generous person.
He used to like to be alone and worship Allah because he never worshipped idols like his tribe qureish, so he decided to stay away that people and be alone in a cave called karul hira. While he was in that cave angel Gabriel came to him at the age of forty saying to him read and the prophet answered I don't read and write. That was his first revelation that Gabriel delivered to him. He was scared and shaking when he came back to his home asking his lovely wife Kadija to cover him. He said that he is scared and she said to him that God will not neglect him because he has good connection with his relative; he is very generous, he solves the problem between the people. Kadija took the prophet to her cousin waraqa who was a man who took Christianity and more knowledgeable about religions. He asked the prophet what he sees and prophet told him the angel he saw. Waraqa told the prophet that is the angel who came to Moses to reveal the inspiration.
Allah says for the first revelation "Convey thou in the name of thy Lord who created, Created man from a clot of blood. Convey! And thy Lord is most Generous, Who taught man by the pen, taught man what he knew not. "(96:2-6) You can understand that this message is massage of knowledge, reading and writing it is compulsory to be more knowledgeable about how you can worship to Allah and you don't have to be guest to anybody to understand this massage. Servants of God should obey his prophet so that he will love them since they obey his messenger. Almighty God says:" Say, ‘if you love Allah, follow me: then will Allah love you and forgive you your faults. And Allah is most Forgiving, Merciful.' Say, ‘Obey Allah and the Messenger;’ but if they turn away, then remember that Allah loves not the disbelievers." The prophet says about to obey him "When I forbid you to do something, avoid it. when I command you to do something, then do it as much as you are able"(Bukhari and Muslim) in a hadith narrated Abuhureyra that Prophet says:" All my community will enter the paradise except to those who refuse it. They asked him," O messenger of Allah, who will refuse?"He said "Whoever obeys me will enter the paradise and whoever rebels against me has refused." (Al-hakim) we can understand all those Quran verses and sayings of prophet that Muslims should be obey the prophet and worship Allah through his teaching. It is obligation that you should love the prophet and that is the condition for the love of Allah. If one claims that he or she loves Allah, he or she should follow his prophet so that he can be true believer. Allah says:"Say to them (believers), follow me so that God will love you as well."(3:31) in an authentic hadith related Bukhari and Muslim, The prophet (peace and bless upon him) said: "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves his children, his parents, and all people." In another hadith in Bukhari he said: "None of you believes until he loves me more than he loves himself."
We all know that when someone loves somebody he or she likes to imitate his or her action, she he like to walk the way that person walks or eat the way that person eats because he or she loves him or her. So you have to love the prophet more than anybody otherwise you won't be pure believer; however; the signs of one's love to prophet is to follow him and obey him. If you oppose or follow a way different his path you are totally in danger for punishment of God so you better watch out yourself. Allah says:" "Whoever splits from the Messenger (peace and bless be upon him) after the guidance is clear to him and follows other than the path of the believers, we shall entrust him to what he has turned to and expose him unto Hell - an evil retreat!" (4:115) the prophet says: "Anyone who dislikes my Sunna is not of me." (Bukhari and Muslim) Sunna is his way whoever dislikes or hates is not a believer. He is known khayrul khalqi (the best of creation) and Allah sent him to the people to be mercy for them. Allah says:" Surely, a Messenger has come unto you from among yourselves; grievous to him is that you should fall into trouble; he is ardently desirous of your welfare ; and to the believers he is compassionate, merciful."(9:128)
