He Loves Us so Much.
He loves us.
It has been said that love makes the world go round. It truly does in every sense. God's love is amazing love. In the Latin the term is "agape" meaning never ending love. It becomes an epiphany when you realize the lengths that God goes to save us. That is exactly what it is. It is never ending. Sometimes it is so amazing to come to the realization and magnitude of God's love for us. There have been many times in my life where it is so overwhelming that I get chills. They are good chills but still chills nonetheless. Left to our own accord, none of us will make it. No, not even one. We would all be in very big trouble. We are all sinners and could not even begin to comprehend holiness or divinity in any way, shape or form. There is nothing holy about being human. Absolutely nothing. We are stuck in a very human and very sinful condition. All we ever do is want more and we complain if we do not get our way. We are really pretty pathetic when you think about it. Completely and utterly spoiled. All throughout the Bible there is offering for sin all the way back to the first Passover in Exodus. They took the blood of a PERFECT LAMB and placed the blood on the top, sides and bottom of the doorway (that forms a cross ). Frankly, we do not deserve Heaven. You cannot earn Heaven as it has been earned for you. It is grace and is downright incredible. What an awesome gift. We are not worthy yet God loves us so very much that He gives us Jesus. He goes to the cross for us. He gives His life for us. Jesus' last words on the cross were Tetelestai, meaning "It is finished." He has done it so that we can have Heaven. It comes down to God wanted His family back. That is how much He loves us. So much so that He gave His own life. It is a love that is unconditional, unconscionable, unmatched, undeniable and for us completely undeserved. A love that can only be achieved by the Almighty One, our Creator, the Lord above. He is so incredible. Why He would do what He does for all of us I cannot even begin to fathom or explain but I sure am glad that He did. He loves us so immensely. It is the most wonderful blessing He has bestowed on ALL of us. Examine these verses:
John 3:17 For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
Romans 8:39 Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus, our Lord.
Isaiah 53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; We have turned, every one, to his own way; And The Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
Isaiah 45:17 But Israel shall be saved by The Lord with an everlasting salvation; You shall not be ashamed or disgraced forever and ever.
What an amazing God!
God bless always
