He did it, not me.

Let's give credit, where it is due

"He did all this so you would never say to yourself, 'I have achieved this wealth with my own strength and energy.' Remember the LORD your God. He is the one who gives you power to be successful, in order to fulfill the covenant he confirmed to your ancestors with an oath." Deuteronomy 8:17-18

When was the last time you said thank you to God for all He was so graciously given you?

What has He given you?

Stop and think. Get a pen and paper and write down everything you have: Your health, your job, your family. If you open your heart and mind I believe you will discover a treasure trove of Gods blessings to you.

For me it is my writing and photography. When I began over two years ago I knew nothing. Natta about how to make a sentence, how to create a paragraph from those sentences, how to have the paragraphs flow like a soft gentle stream instead of bouncing all over the place, how to choose a title. I knew nothing about clip art or how to insert photo’s into the story. Had no idea how to make a title. What are tag words, I didn’t know.

It is by Gods grace that the Holy Spirit has enlightened me to these important aspects. Sometimes, it was by guiding me to the resources available to teach me on line like Daily Writing Tips and Problogger and about.com.

Now it is time to take the next step and collect many articles to make a book.

The soul purpose of this is to educate people of Gods deep love for them I am honoured to have been chosen for this Holy Task. Every day I humbly, sincerely give thanks and praise to God for this special privilege.

So, how about you? Are you willing to make a list and thank God every morning and evening? Every time something good happens to you today, thank God for it. Make this a daily practice and see how your life slowly, subtle changes for the better.

“Now glory be to God, who by his mighty power at work within us is able to do far more than we would ever dare to ask or even dream of — infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, or hopes.” (Ephesians 3:20 Living Bible)

Prayer: Thank you Jehovah Jireh, the Lord our Giver, for all the marvelous gifts You have given us. For this humble servant Lord I sing with all my might the joy and honour of Your choosing me to serve You in such a wonderful manner. In the name of Your greatest gift to us Jesus Christ we pray. Amen

May the sweet sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day.
