How Can You Endure Persecutions? Part II
The idea of Satan what we are discussing today is to get pass governmental laws, that if our Father's children obey those laws, they would be disobeying the laws of our Father. This is a type of persecution. This happened to Prophet Daniel, and it will happen during the Great Tribulation, and it is happening today and will continue to happen until and through the time of Antichrist. Antichrist will be involved in this type of persecution until Christ our Lord takes His Church to Heaven as stated in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17.
Holy Spirit wants to remind us that in these closing days of the age of our Father's grace that not only will there be a great ingathering of souls, but there will also be increased persecution upon the Body for Christ as Satan tries to keep Christ your Lord's Church from being a victorious Church. In some areas on planet earth there are governmental laws that if the children of our Father obey the laws, they will be disobeying the laws of our Father, and receive severe persecutions.
For example, in some societies on planet earth the law of the land calls for the death penalty for any becoming Christians. If this type of thing is not happening in your society today, but there is a move towards this type of thing, which Antichrist will do. Time will come when it will become difficult to hold a bible in hand, or even say freely that there is one God, or there is one way to heaven. You will be breaking one of the laws of the government. Even if someone becomes a born again Christian, on their own free will, they will say that he was forced to accept that religion, for the law is already there that you cannot force anyone.
You cannot say that idols are not gods. You cannot say abortion is wrong or homosexuality is wrong. They will pass governmental laws which if you keep you will automatically be breaking God’s laws. Born again Christians need to be prepared in this matter; Satan will influence more governmental laws to be passed of a nature that if one obeys the governmental law that one is disobeying the laws of our Father. And, when born again Christians refuse to obey these types of governmental laws, they will be persecuted.
How did Daniel endure this kind of persecution?
Daniel 6:10 says, "Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house, and his windows being open in his chambers toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.”
Holy Spirit wants to tell us that (Daniel 6:16) Daniel had so much love from our Father even though this meant that he was placed in a lion's den, he was stilt faithful to our Father.
When Daniel heard of the king’s decree, he decided to obey our Father. He continued to do the duties as chief of the princes, but in the hour of prayer he went to his chamber, and with his windows open towards Jerusalem, in accordance with his usual custom, he offered his petition to the God of heaven. He did not try to conceal his act. Although he knew fully well the consequences of his fidelity to God, his spirit faltered not.
Daniel faced Jerusalem
During Old Testament times our Father had established the city of Jerusalem as His Holy City on planet earth. When King Solomon dedicated the Temple as a place of prayer, he stated that when Hebrew people prayed while not in the Temple, that they should face the Temple (2 Chronicles 6:19-21).
Surrounded by idolaters, he was a faithful witness to this truth. For an entire day the princes watched Daniel. Three times they saw him go to his chamber, and three times they heard his voice lifted in earnest intercession to God. They did not have a zeal for kingly glory and honor, but jealousy against Daniel.
While in the foreign country, three times a day Prophet Daniel faced the city of Jerusalem and prayed. The decree of Darius did not make Prophet Daniel timid, and he did not change his way of praying because he knew the importance of prayer. Even though he knew that it would mean the persecution of the lions' den, he kept his window towards the Temple open & prayed three times a day. He did not let anything cause him to neglect his daily prayers.

Supportive scriptures to follow
Daniel 6:11 - The men who had spoken to the king watched Daniel and saw him praying to his God for help.
Daniel 6:12 - They went back to the king and said, "Didn't you make a law that forbids anyone to pray to any god or human except you for the next thirty days? And doesn't the law say that everyone who disobeys it will be thrown into a pit of lions?" "Yes, that's the law I made," the king agreed. "And just like all written laws of the Medes and Persians, it cannot be changed."
Daniel 6:13 - The men then told the king, "That Jew named Daniel, who was brought here as a captive, refuses to obey you or the law that you ordered to be written. And he still prays to his god three times a day."
Daniel 6:14 - The king was really upset to hear about this, and for the rest of the day he tried to think how he could save Daniel.
He saw that it was not zeal for kingly glory and honor, but jealousy against Daniel that had led to the proposal for a royal decree.
Daniel 6:16 - So Darius ordered Daniel to be brought out and thrown into a pit of lions. But he said to Daniel, "You have been faithful to your God, and I pray that he will rescue you."
All night long DANIEL could sleep, but not the King in his comfortable bed.
Daniel 6:18 - All night long the king could not sleep. He did not eat anything, and he would not let anyone come in to entertain him.
Daniel 6:23 - The king was relieved to hear Daniel's voice, and he gave orders for him to be taken out of the pit. Daniel's faith in his God had kept him from being harmed.
Daniel 6:24 - And the king ordered the men who had brought charges against Daniel to be thrown into the pit, together with their wives and children. But before they even reached the bottom, the lions ripped them to pieces.
The persecutors perished and the persecuted was honored. Alleluia!
Daniel 6:25 - King Darius then sent this message to all people of every nation and race in the world: "Greetings to all of you!
Daniel 6:26 - I command everyone in my kingdom to worship and honor the God of Daniel. He is the living God, the one who lives forever. His power and his kingdom will never end.
Daniel 6:27- He rescues people and sets them free by working great miracles. Daniel's God has rescued him from the power of the lions."
Daniel 6:28 - All went well for Daniel while Darius was king, and even when Cyrus the Persian ruled.
The response of our Father
Our Father responded by sending angels. Let me show you how they ministered to Daniel.
It was a large cave that was used for lion’s den. Right before Prophet Daniel was cast into a den of hungry lions, the Angels herded the hungry lions to one area of the large cave that was used for a lions' den.
Then they contained them in that area with some type of chain net around the lions. This is one of the ways our Father’s faithful angels do to the demons who are cast out of a person in the spiritual realm. The possibility of demons being in chains is mentioned in 2 Peter 2:4.
When Prophet Daniel was thrown down into the den of lions, the Angels simply directed his fall to the area where there were not any lions.
Are you unashamed of the gospel of Christ?
Then what did the angels do?
Hebrews 11:33 says, “Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained promises, shut the mouths of lions.”
When I looked into the Hebrew and Greek dictionaries the word stopped or shut includes the idea of a fence.
Not only did a fence in the spirit realm separate the lions from Prophet Daniel all night long, but also several Angels came and formed a canopy of Angel wings over Daniel. There was also Ascending and Descending of Angels that took place all night long. Not only did the Angels protect Prophet Daniel during his time of persecution, but also they ministered to him emotionally and spiritually.
What was the reason that our Father responded by sending angels to shut the lion’s mouth?
The reason that our Father was able to respond the way He did when Prophet Daniel was in the lions' den is that Prophet Daniel remained faithful in his PERSONAL PRAYER life. This is an important guideline for born again Christians to follow.
When they have a daily schedule of personal prayer that they faithfully follow, this gives Holy Spirit opportunity to help them to endure all their times of persecution. Holy Spirit’s advice to all born again Christians this day is to continue to begin each day with your early morning time of prayer as there is persecution coming.
