How To Live Like Jesus

Updated on February 4, 2015

Living By Faith

One of the first things a new believer wants to do after becoming born again is to tell everyone what happened to them.

Sadly though, Satan is there telling the believer that they didn't get saved. Now is when a person should start living like Jesus.

Jesus rebuked the devil by telling him that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. He also told the devil that it is written again, thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Finally, Jesus told the devil it is written, thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

We are to do the same as Jesus did. This starts by reading in the word of God. We will begin to understand the will of God.

Jesus could return at any moment. We as Christians are to be looking for his return and be found faithful at his return.

A New Desire

We have new desires and pleasures when we become born again. We no longer desire to participate in the pleasures of sin.

Faint Not At Trials and Tribulations

We are not to get discouraged by trials and tribulations. As followers of Jesus, we will have them. Prayer is the best way to overcome them.

We must exercise our faith in God and faith will come by hearing and hearing by the word of God.

A New Peace In Your Heart

When a person is living like Jesus, they have a peace that passeth all understanding.

Oh and what a blessing you will receive when you start to see all that God is doing in your life.

When We All Get To Heaven

When We all get to Heaven, what a day of rejoicing that will be. When we all see Jesus, We'll sing and shout the victory!

That truly is one of my favorite songs!

May God Bless You!

Becoming like Christ is the real goal of Christianity. If we purse that goal we will always be ready for His physical presence. Thanks for the message.
