How to Get Free Tarot Readings

Updated on July 4, 2015

Getting Tarot Readings for Free

Hey I'll admit that a free tarot reading may or may not be as good as a paid one, but common sense will tell you that you have nothing to lose. I've personally done many free tarot readings over the last couple of years in conjunction with doing paid ones and the big secret that I've kept to myself is that not a whole lot changes when I do a free reading vs a paid reading, and I put just as much effort into both. With that being said, I can't say that every free reader is going to do the same, but I will teach you how you can get a reading for free.

Readings from Friends, and Acquaintances

I lean more towards this method, because face-to-face readings seem more personalized to me. If you don't know many people then might I suggest going to a new age/metaphysical store, browse through the Tarot decks and books. You might bump into someone who, upon striking up a conversation with, is a tarot reader willing to give you a reading. Many readers aren't in it to make money and others are newbies looking to gain experience.

Free Tarot Readings Online

There are a couple of ways I can think of to get Tarot readings online.

The first is to become an active member of an online Tarot community with a forum like Aeclectic Tarot. I'm not saying join the forums and beg people for free readings. Think of this more like establishing yourself, forming friendships, and then reading for each other to gain experience. You could probably work something out on Skype or cam-to-cam with this option.

The second way is to use one of the free reading services offered online to get an e-mail reading. The two I know of are Biddy Tarot and The Free Reading Network. I've used this method personally and can vouch that the reader I got from Biddy Tarot was excellent.

What Do You Think?

Please add your comments. Have you had a free reading online? How was it? Can you think of any other ways to get free Tarot readings?
