How to Have a Spiritual Life in Christ
People are generally accustomed to their living environment, country and tribe. However when found in foreign country with different cultures and language the individual would be confused, depressed or anxious.
Culture shock is a common phenomenon especially among travelers in completely strange surroundings. This is because many things need to be learnt and the familiar becomes foreign.
Becoming a Christian
Becoming a Christian follows similar feelings and experiences because the individual needs to learn how to live by the spirit. Living a physical life based on one perception and character must be put aside while the individual must learn to live in the spiritual.
Spiritual Nature of the Christian
According to the bible man is a living soul that exists in a body and has a spirit. The body is the vessel that connects us to the physical world. While our spirit is the link to the spirit world and God.
Our souls includes the will, emotions and mind are influenced by the spirit and body. It is a fact that all men are born with a sinful nature however Christians are born again, possess the Holy Spirit and have a new nature.

The non-Christian does not have Christ or eternal life. Their lives are influenced by Satan and the world around them. Their life is dominated by the sin nature and they have no fellowship with Him. They are basically an enemy of God and unable to live a life pleasing to God.
The non-Christian is spiritually separated from Him and does not have Christ in their lives. The nature is sinful because of the influence of Satan and the world. This makes the individual an enemy of God and is unable to please him.
