How to Preserve/Save Your Spiritual Energy?

Engelta loves sharing the spiritual world with the ones worthy of it. The magick, the witchcraft, the ascension.

I already explained how to build your Spiritual Shield, which not only protect your energy but also help to keep it in. I also explained how to feed and nourish your energy when you run low on it because of negative vibes and interacting with other people.

Even though the above situations will drain your energy, one of the main reasons why your ‘batteries’ die is because of your own magickal practice. One of the simplest, underestimated, unnoticed, most occurring ways you lose energy, is when you use it to charge your spells.

No doubt the most effective method to charge your spell, especially if you want a fast manifestation, as close to your intention as it can possibly come, is to infuse it with your own energy. However, this is not the only way. Don’t get me wrong, you absolutely need to use your own energy, no matter what you cast, because even if you will be using other tools, at the very least you will definitely need to spend energy when placing your intention in the spell and there is no way out of it. But, to build on that energy, you can use other methods and tools.

Infuse your energy:

As tools you can use:

The Elements:

Drown it in water, Set it on fire, Bury it in earth, Throw it out in a windy day

Place it under the moonlight or sunlight

Your Liquids:

Spit, Blood, Urine, Vaginal Secretions

Movement:

Exercise, Dance to it, Walk around the spell in circles

Sound:

Sing to it, Put some Music on, Tibetian bowls sounds, Play an instrument to it

Tools:

Place your paper under Crystals, Runes stones, an object that’s working or being charged (ex: phone)

Most of the witches like to burn their Petitions once they are pleased with what they have written. While burning the Petition, they also light candles and cast spells. But you can always just burn your Petition and not go through rituals or casting spells.

Some witches like to light a candle and re-read their Petition a couple of times (if you have written a song, sing it, if you have painted something light the candle over it or near it), then put it somewhere safe when it won’t be disturbed. Usually this is to prove after a couple of weeks, or whenever it manifests, if it manifested to the point, or not. You can draw Sigils, Runes or Symbols, to enhance and strengthen the energy. I like to draw Runes which meanings add to what I want to manifest, a Pentacle and the Triple Moon.

I like to charge it by lightning candles over the paper (I usually write long letters or poetry), anoint the paper with conjure oils or essential oils, through some herbs if I am in the mood and read the whole thing a couple of times. After the candles have gone out by themselves, I drown it in water and then rip it apart. Some of the petitions I have saved for some time, but the thing is, I have a pretty good visual memory and memory of the way I felt at a particular moment (I know what I want to experience) so I tend to not save Petitions for long after I have cast. *You can read more on Powerful Petition Magick - The Hidden Secrets no witch really shares here*

What to do if you don't have anything around or when you wanna be discrete?

If you absolutely need to pour energy coming from you into the spell, then you should practice how to transfer the energy from an object, or a Nature’s source into the spell.

You may need to absorb the energy from a crystal, depending on the spell you are casting, if it is for love, you can absorb a rose quartz energy (except for placing the crystal near the candle or over your petition paper), etc, depending on your intention and which crystal holds the energy that matches your intention best. You want to hold the crystal on your non-dominant hand because that’s the one that absorbs energies easier (if you are not using that for a curse), and place your dominant hand over the petition paper, near the candle, or just point with your index finger to the object of your spell. Once you have placed yourself, absorb the crystal’s energy just as we talked at the “feed your energy section”, feel it travel through your body and right out of your hand/finger. Do not stop the process, you have to transfer the energy from the object, through your body and out of your other hand in a second. Think of your body as a wire, you don’t hold energy, you transfer it from one point to the other. If you stop to feel it, you may cause imbalances of energy in your body, building too much energy, it will throw you off, and it is never a good thing to cut a spell/ritual in the middle.

This method is way more difficult than absorbing energy for the purpose of feeding your own, and even in that case, you may need a lot of practice in order to not take a whole lot in. You can’t handle neither low energy, nor lots of it. So be careful.

But don’t get scared. You can always balance it out, by giving back to Nature/Universe that runs on unlimited energy and it is unlimited in dimension, so there is no way your energy will mess it up.
