How To Acknowledge The Existence Of Karma In Our Lives.

Updated on June 15, 2013

Karma, a scenario.

Acknowledge the existence of Karma.

- Your life seems to be one twist and turn after another.

- You believe you are being tested at every turn.

- You ask why nothing seems to go right anymore?

- You question every decision you now make.

-You want more but don't know how to create a better life.

You have heard so much about Karma, but don't really know what it means. You decide to go in search of yourself in order to find what is missing and learn to stop things going wrong in your life. Does it mean you have to find God?

I don't believe you do have to find God, but what I now do believe is that there is something out there which is testing us. Giving us situations and making things happen in order to make us learn from our mistakes. Making us stronger. We all need and have a purpose whilst we are here on this planet. The fact is that many of us will never know what was meant for us. We don't know what has been mapped out for us until we find it.

If we all have a purpose for being here on earth then it is in our interests to search and find what it is we were put here to do. This is my belief, but sadly may not be your's so please read on so I can tell you what I have found. Hopefully you too will recognise that there is a thing out there which moves us in a certain direction. The only thing is, will we follow that direction or work against it because we believe the path is not right for us? Decide for yourself as I tell of my findings.

Reading is a great leveller.

Apart from educating you, reading can bring you down to earth with a great bump. For many years I have known that there is a reason why we are led along to do certain things. We are led by our instincts, gut feelings, which we either choose to go along with or bury along with all the other decisions we ignore.

I have always believed that what goes around comes around. If you are honourable in your dealings with people, they will be honourable in their dealings with you. And, for the most part I think this has some bearing on how we conduct ourselves throughout life.

That is until we reach a point in life, where, we think that something is not right and the decisions we are making seem to be taking us down the wrong path. Why is this? Our dealings and the way we treat others have been correct, yet things keep going wrong no matter how hard we try to make things better.

Recently I was reading a book about success. I have actually reviewed this book in an article a few months ago. Now, this book has become something of a bible to me as it speaks so much truth and I can relate it to my own life.

In chapter 11 it gives what I see as an introduction into Karma and talks about the mystical and spiritual side of business. It tells how we are all capable of magic if we follow a certain code in our business and personal dealings.

How can we use Karma to our advantage in life as well as business?

Karma, as you may well know happens as a result of what we believe, think and do to others around us. Simply it means 'what goes around comes around' in my own view. There are loads of quotes of which I am sure you will know to do with Karma so I will spare you the pain of me listing them all.

In short if you do good to others, they, in turn, will do good to you. The person who has no concept of Karma and ignores what Karma can do will be met with hardship, tragedy and misery until they recognise this and do something about it.

BINGO! That is where I am right now. I haven't gone out of my way to hurt or hinder people over my lifetime, but I will admit that my dealings with people close have not always been carried out the way I should have allowed. You see, you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family. Suffice to say this is where I may have been going wrong and I have been attracting negative energy because of this.

All this being noted then made me realise that I needed to find what my purpose in life is. After searching out all posiibilities I found what I have been looking for and a map to follow to make sure that I can keep on track. All it takes is a little time, some reading and ACTION to put what I am and have already learned into action. It also means that I have to follow what I know and believe is the right path for me to follow.

Using Karma to your advantage.

If you learn something about Karma, you can then use it to your advantage in both everyday life and in your business dealings or work life.

Quite simply all you need to do is turn your life over to and accept help from another source. One which we don't know enough about. Let's just say it is a mystery, but something does guide us to do the things we do. I like to call it the UNIVERSE . I am now learning each day to hand problems and situations over to this somewhat higher power in the hope that it will draw positive energy to me so long as my intentions to people and situations are well meant.

It sounds too simplistic, I know, but it does seem to take the focus of what you do and allow you to take guidance from yourself even though it is obviously coming from elsewhere. I hope I am making it easy to follow. If not then I would suggest that you buy the book I am talking about in the hope that it could have the profound effect on you as it has on me.

I have read it a number of times, but just cannot get past this 11th chapter. I keep reading and re- reading and it just makes more and more sense everytime I read it. This is why it is the basis of my personal and business dealings from now on. Through this I found my purpose and will continue to work with it until it finally get's me what I want and where I want to be.

You have acknowledged the existence of Karma and it is time to use it to benefit others first, then you.

Reading this book each day has made me realise that I have to do things each day which is going to benefit others which will in turn benefit me. This is my purpose in life through my writing in many ways. Helping people who read my articles is my vehicle to get what I want out of life. You see the biggest thing I am looking for is the single largest thing that a man could ever want.......................

Freedom to choose what I want to do with my life and not to be told by someone else when and when not I can or can't do something. We are all born free and this is how we should end up.

To be free and have the time to choose what to do you have to have enough of the folding stuff to allow this to happen. Hence the reason why I am pursuing an avenue which has a good chance of making this happen for me. By writing articles and having the chance to profit more than once for the work that I have done once, is the way we all need to go. Writing an article once is a job well done, but we have the opportunity to create residual income from royalty payments for as long as the article is out there in cyber space. That is a powerful thought and is a road where we should all go down to ensure we get the freedom we deserve and crave.

By teaching this to others I hope it will happen for me.

I cannot stress enough what a profound effect the book Visionary Business, An Entrpreneurs Guide has had on me. It has totally changed my outlook on the way I look at life and work, business. If you desire the same things that I have described in this article and my review of the book, then you should not only buy it, but study it carefully and change your life for the better. It has never happened to me before whilst reading a book, but this one really has become my bible. I hope it does the same for you.

Good luck and I hope you find your purpose.

Kind regards and thanks for reading and, I hope commenting below.

Victoria Lynn, thanks for commenting. I think everybody acknowledges it could be there but never look to make it work for them.

shiningirisheyes, thanks again for visiting and for your great comments. I too have to believe that what you sow you reap. I am also trying to live a good life but do sometimes wonder what I must have done in a past life to get the results I have had these last few years. I just know that something good is around the corner for me and you and all of our Hub friends if we just keep plugging away.

By the way.....awesome results for just 5 weeks here. 45 hubs. If you continue at this rate you must take the 30/30 hub challenge at least.

I am a huge believer in karma. I try to live a good life but have no problem treating people in a positive manner. I believe what you send out causes a ripple effect and the positive results are awesome.

Love the write, love the attitude and love the way you think.

We were both brought up on the Biblical maxim "do unto others as you would have done unto you".

In business terms, this means acting with honesty, transparency and consistency.

Our experience has been that when other people know that we always try to act honorably, then we are usually treated well. Of course this is not ture 100% of the time.

We would't call it Karma, but maybe it amounts to the same thing.

This hub is voted up, interesting , it's twittered and shared.

I do believe in Karma as well. If you put good out into the universe, you will get the same in return. Well written, I vote up and awesome.

It stinks to treat people how you would want to be treated but they don't reciprocate. In that way, I hope that Karma will in time bring good things to me and also bring them down a notch or two as they deserve. I enjoyed your hub. Very interesting. I may have to read the book, too. Very good review. Many votes!

Steve, thank you. This is wonderful and so very calming. I too believe in karma, what goes around does come around. I loved your saying, "You see, you can choose your friends, but you can't choose your family". Beautiful and inspiring. Happy Birthday.

I believe in Karma. Thank you for writing a thought provoking article. It seems like some who put greed above anything else never has bad Karma, but it will happen. The Golden rule applies here. Cheers

Thanks for reading. I'm not sure if it is a case of it working for me, more of the fact of just acknowledging it's existence and trusting that there could be a force which may just help us get what we want. Sounds a bit weird as we always believe that we make our own luck in this life. I have made some poor decisions over the years and this just gives me a little more focus to get it right I think.

You are damn right we are going to succeed. I have come too far down the road now. This is ingrained in me and is one of the best decisions I have made in years. It is the right vehicle to get me where I want to be. Thanks so much for your support.

You know I think you are right. As with lot's of things you have to have an open mind and accept new ways of thinking and new ways of doing things in order to lead us where we want to be. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Hey I am glad it is part of your life and is working. Your comments and votes are very much appreciated, thanks so much.

Thanks for the cooment and votes.Yes I believe that we only appreciate what can be done in our lives when we have hit a bad spell. Putting our trust in something mystical can certainly make a massive difference in the way we think about things and run our lives. I am willing to give anything ago if there is the slightest chance that iot will lead me where I want to go.

    Good luck to you.

    Sharon Egan,

Great to see you here and thanks for taking the time to read and comment. I know you have your hands full.It is a long journey, but I am sure it will be worth the effort. Let me know if I can help in any way.

    Michele Travis,

Hi again and thanks for the vote. It is good to hear from you again. I think it will be good for me also.

I didn't get into the ideas behind karma until my life hit a downward spiral and I needed to evaluate myself. I'm fascinated with our universe and the mystery behind it. Thank you for sharing this great hub, I enjoyed it very much. Voted up and interesting (:

Thanks for publishing this very thought-provoking article.

I like what you wrote..."By writing articles and having the chance to profit more than once for the work that I have done once, is the way we all need to go." This sounds like the *one to many" approach we have been discussing in my household.

You're going to succeed. I know you are.

I'm going to succeed. I don't doubt it at all.
