“How to get over the "I'm Fat" syndrome: all about our weight.”
It’s devastating how a weighing scale can often determine the happiness of a person. I just don’t know how many times you’ve heard of the phrase, “You don’t have to be skinny to be beautiful”, but as cliché as that may sound it still remains nothing but a phrase. Because it never seems to penetrate the heart and convince it of how ridiculous it is to think that there is a certain number that we should see in a weighing scale to be beautiful.
GAINING WEIGHT is natural.
Food is the fuel that keeps our physical body going, and the most popular culprit of weight gain. Something most people love to love and love to hate at the same time. You may love to eat food but you loathe the idea of gaining weight. Well, here’s a reality check, we can’t really do anything about it can we? It is either we die of starvation but look “skinny” or we will eat and live.
Weight gain can be terrifying for those who are losing weight and to those who are keeping them off. But the key is to maintain balance. Don’t be afraid to eat but do be very careful on what and how much you eat. Since you cannot go against nature you have to deal with it wisely, the right way.
Gain good weight
Good weight means just the right amount of a healthy weight gain. We can gain good weight by eating vegetables and other healthy foods. You might be very familiar with these tips already but it is essential that you are to be reminded of these simple facts before we address the cure to the “I’m Fat” syndrome.
So try to gain good weight! By simply eating healthy in the right amount of course. Even if it’s healthy anything in excess is bad.
A little tip: If you find it hard to eat green just keep telling yourself that to be lean is to eat green!
And keep in mind the word “DISCIPLINE”, because that’s all it takes.

Yup, that’s right. It’s not mandatory to lose weight. So don’t ever think that your life is all about losing weight because it’s not. Don’t demean the true essence of life with a superficial issue of our society today. Do that and it will be just like you’re robbing yourself of something so precious that you cannot take back.
So when do you have to lose weight? When you need to and not when you want to.

You definitely have to cut down the intake when you become overweight because that can and will affect your health in a bad way. There’s nothing wrong to shed off some extra pounds if you feel that your health is getting badly affected by it and if you’re a bit out of shape. EXERCISING is one of the best way to keep your weight and health just right and in perfect harmony, so don’t forget exercising!
When you want to lose weight.
Most of the times when we want to lose weight means we want to look like Miranda Kerr. In other words our desire to lose weight can sometimes be a result of emotions or an indecisive decision because of too much exposure to the teachings of the chaos we call society.
If your weight is just the right numbers and you’re not over fed nor under fed and your health is in tip top shape then there’s no need to lose weight! Just let it be and let your body grow healthy.
Getting over the “i’m Fat” Syndrome.
What is the I’m Fat” syndrome? It is a very deadly disease where everyone especially girls are prone to. Millions suffers from this plague that has resulted in low self-esteem, a miserable life, unneeded misery and even suicides.
There are 2 kinds of this illness.
I’M FAT...but really you’re not.
This is what most perfectly fit girls say. They never seem to be contented of how great they look already. This is why the obsession of losing weight never stops because even after losing all the weight they can lose they still end up frustrated and still wanting to lose the small amount of weight they have left. But there are also some who doesn’t go overboard but never felt happy with how they weigh even if there’s nothing really wrong about their weight.
WHY? It is because our society has raised a ridiculously, extremely dangerous and unrealistic high standard of what the “right weight” is.
I’M FAT...there’s nothing wrong with that.
Now if you can’t fit into small sized jeans then don’t sweat it! Don’t punish yourself for not fitting into clothes not your size. Beauty is not weighed on a weighing scale.
If you want to lose some extra pounds then there’s not wrong with that too. If you want to maintain your weight then by all means! Just don’t forget to be healthy and stay healthy in whatever decision you choose.
SO OVER IT.
What you need is to shake it off, let go of the outrageous standard and just be contented. Just close your ears to what society might say to you, let them judge you and even criticize you but don’t ever let them tell you what to do. What the world say will always get us into trouble and hurt us if we listen to it, just look and you’ll see that they don’t have your best interest at heart. Besides you were never created by God to be subjected by what the world thinks but by what He thinks, to follow Him and not the world. He doesn’t want to see you starving or overweight, especially not in misery and suicidal.
If you’re a Christian issues like this should never be much of a big deal. God didn’t love us because of our weight did He? When He said we were perfectly made He wasn’t looking at our size wasn’t He?
WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS:
I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.
So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, 7 rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.
8 See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the elemental spiritual forces[a] of this world rather than on Christ.
