I Carry you in my Spirit
I carry you in my spirit,
O my brother and my sister,
Daily will I present you before
The throne of grace,
No, I don’t know your name,
But, God does!
I pray that God’s perfect will
Be done on your behalf,
We are all part of one Church!
We are all members in particular
Of the Body of Christ,
It doesn’t matter
What denomination you are,
Prayer for you is
My spiritual responsibility,
I hope that prayer for me is yours too!
When you pray for the Church,
You have included me in your prayer,
Thank you! We all need each other
The Spirit is calling us to pray for one another,
He wants to lead us into the secret closet,
In this place our hearts are enlarged,
It is the place where intercessory prayer
Takes precedence over all
It is where you and I petition God individually, and
Where we meet up collectively, in spirit!
Yet, with one spirit we ask Him
To help all those who are in need
The unsaved need salvation, today!
Jesus came to seek and save the lost
Please, join me and all who intercede daily,
This is too great a need to overlook
You have relatives and so do I,
Who think they know the answer
But, they don’t know Jesus is the only answer,
I beseech you, O my brother and you my sister
Pray globally for the needs of others,
That the lost would turn to God and repent!
And that they would accept the provisions,
Jesus offers through His shed blood,
I need your help!
I am asking you O my brother and my sister
To carry me in your spirit, and that we together
Carry every man, woman, boy and girl to the throne daily,
We are doing something when we pray,
We are transporting the needs of souls to God,
We are taking up our cross and following Him.
