I Love How God Moves...

Updated on November 27, 2010

Confirming Things in His time.

Man, how I love how God moves. It is the times that you least expect it that He does affirm or confirm what He is doing, or that what it is you are doing is in line with Him. It seems that when I need it the most that God's faithfulness shines through all the other mundane things that this life can distract or discourage you with.

I can say lately I have been battling discouragement, let alone depression that tries to set in with being what I would say is being idle. Really though, God has positioned me in a place to rest and heal. It is sort of like a wilderness for transformation, allowing Him to produce what it is He desires in me. I would get discouraged because I feel that I am not doing enough or that I should be doing more. Not I, but Christ. May I get out of His way in what He is doing.

That is just the point, He wants to be doing what it is He wants to do, and take the responsibility off of me, because truly if I was the one doing anything I would just screw it up. It is to His Glory that any of the things that we experience in life get done in the first place. Any time I can say I did something or take credit for what has transpired can be considered robbery. Truly for apart from Christ we can do nothing. It is God who inspires, encourages, and moves the mountains in our lives. We are to believe and be obedient to that which He desires of us. I can say that God does chose to use us, and that we are His to do as He pleases. He is trust worthy and we can depend on Him when it seems everything else has gone a rye, and that good will come from what it is our circumstances maybe for the time.

"And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose." Romans 8:28

Uplifting Your spirit..

It seems that God knows what He is doing, okay He totally knows what He is doing. What is amazing Is how circumstances or events line up and bring about confirmation to that which God has been stirring in ones Heart.Oh the Joy that it produces..

A brother and I have been really sharing our heart concerning the happenings in our local church and how every thing seems to be just another service. When our Hearts are more for what God desires to do in the church, through the Church, and in our communities. There is so much more to our walk than showing up every Sunday and worshiping God with a bunch of people we really are not intimately involved with. We don't want just a couple songs, a message that some one shares and then another song and then back to our week. We want God moving in, and through the Body as He intended. We want to see more Body ministry. We want to see more intimate time with those we call brothers and sister to really know them. We desire to see ourselves and others mature into the people of God that we are meant to be, doing all that Jesus has said we can do with Him. We desire to see others truly disciple d. We truly desire to see the spirit moving freely in our midst not being controlled or restricted with in a time frame and or agenda. We need the manifest presence of God restored in the churches.

I have been really chewing on the restoration of God's presence to the body of Christ lately. How people may not realize how far from there first love they have truly wandered. It is that time. Time to redirect peoples attention to their first love. People need to realize that we are meant to be a Holy inhabited people with God dwelling in our midst corporately, as well as individually.

Please consider the following as extremely serious and please pray as Your heart and spirit may be led to do so..

We must all Repent. Repent for those who are clueless. Repentance is needed. Doesn't matter what you have done or have not done. We need to be crying out not only for ourselves, but also for those who do not know any better. To repent for the sins of our communities. To repent for the lack of commitment of our leaders and gate keepers of our cites. We need to repent for the spiritual whoredom. Any and all things that we or others have turn aside from God for. Name what ever you think of in prayer, what comes to Heart.

" if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land." 2 Chronicles 7:14

I know that many have come to a place that they have repented, and their walks are amazing with God. But please consider those who have not. Lets move the Heart of Heaven for transformation. Lets be a part of the reformation that is taking place. Lets Seek out the Fathers Heart and receive the instructions He desires, and partner with Him in prayer to bring about His purposes and the true identity of the Body of Christ.

‎"When Jesus is invited into our communities, He brings salvation, healing, and right identity." Rhonda Hughey

What follows is a video that is Amazing. Please allow yourself the time to listen.... Be Blessed all of You. Thank you for taking the time to read this Hub and forgive me if it seemed a little lengthy.

I think that we all go through a time of discouragement. Look at Elijah when he said to God, it is only me and I am alone. But God revealed to him that there were seven thousand others. God is at work even when we don't see it right away! You are right;true repentance and reformation is needed. To love the Lord with all our hearts minds and strength!

DaKingsKid: God indeed has His own way of doing things, let me tell you. But as long as God wishes to take full responsibility, for all in my life I resist Him not.

The Lord took me through a wilderness experience a couple of years ago. And He has been faithful through it all.

I think your experience is the church experience across the board. We want to see the power and passion of God lived out in our lives and others. It does seem at times as if church can turn into a social club or organization rather than the living organism God intended.

As you said we need the manifest presence of God to restore and revive.
