I was saved! .... Not once but two times?
I have been saved by Jesus not once but actually two times and so have you. The very first time was when He went to the cross and took away my sin and saved me and all of mankind for that matter. The second time was when I received Him as my personal savior. Yes, I said personal. In fact, nothing could possibly be more personal. Our relationship with God is so very personal. It is entirely between you and The Lord. Take ownership of that relationship because it is between you and Him and there is nothing more beautiful or more important in this whole, wide world than our relationship with God. There really is not. Think about it. He loves you so very, very much. Sometimes that relationship can be cultivated through trials and tribulations. This life is temporal and so very short and it is vital to have that relationship with Jesus. Once again His love for us is beyond any description. Jesus tells us that there is no greater gift than to lay your life down for your friends and that is exactly what He does for all of us. He is indeed our very best friend. You could not have a bigger fan than Jesus Christ. In turn, we need to be His biggest fan. That is the person we should all strive to be. It needs to be manifested in our actions that we love, admire and adore our Lord. He wants to give us life more abundantly. He wants to abide in us. It will make for a more rewarding and complete earthly life and moreover a path to an eternity spent with Him in Heaven. That is the glory which awaits us all. Say a prayer of gratitude every day for His incredible and amazing grace that we truly do not deserve. Try not to take so much for granted. He loves you and He is the very best friend you will ever know. I LOVE HIM and I know that you love Him also. God IS LOVE. Let Him know how you feel about Him.
Consider these verses:
Psalm 57:2 I will cry out to God Most High, to God who performs all things for me. He shall send from Heaven and save me.
John 15:13 "Greater love has no one than this, than to lay down one's life for his friends.
Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
1 John 3:16 By this we know love, because He laid down His life for us. And we also ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
Deuteronomy 33:3 Yes, He loves the people; All His saints are in Your hand; They sit down at your feet; Everyone receives your words.
God bless always.
