We will not be shaken

Seriously, are we one nation under God or are we busy kicking God to the curb? The truth is we neglect what our country was built upon. Funny, how the world works so hard to eliminate what Is, Was and will Be!

If one tries to erase an impact, it still remains with the remembrance that mark the acts of violence, and/or joy. Media is the amplified tool through which we grieve and celebrate. Admit it, we find it intriguing the sounds, sites, and smells that these events create in our world, nonetheless God's impact is greater and He created that which we destroy.

Attempts to erase an ingrained connection doesn't take it away, perhaps this is why we love movies and superheroes. Movies take us to an unrealistic interpretation of reality and superheroes have powerful abilities we wish to possess that would allow us to control our reality. All earthly stories and whimsical fantasies fail in comparison to the power of our God and His Omnipotence.

He could bestow great power if it were His will to do so, and if we begin to believe we are better than another, quickly He humbles us reminding us He is our focus. He plants our feet and guides our steps, allows us to knocked down only to build us back up. He is the real transformer. Take God from this world, laughable, a feeble minded plot with no chance of winning!

You can't remove what is written on the hearts of men, the ultimate good that lies in all people and circumstance. Denial does not make something truth, rather it is the act of conceding in an environment that clouds the spirit of truth.

Ultimately, people are good and loving, and their roots of man are solid, because God is good all the time, and all the time He is good.

Put two people on a deserted island and their differences will dissipate. They will battle, debate, and even separate, then slowly seek the solace of that which brings them together. The Holy Spirit is that power that bonds in all circumstance. You can try and deny it, but when it fills you there is nothing but surrender, everything else falls away and we will not be shaken.

Many think to themselves, "How I wish I could take regular visits to the place where God would meet me." The truth is God is everywhere without limitation. He will meet you where you are, exactly as you are. The desert is wherever you are seeking Him, and the living water of His word is how He feeds you. All you need to do is open yourself up to this gift and stop letting this world shut you down!

Be Strong For I am With You ~

Are we really one nation under God?

Let's get back to the business of caring for our neighbor by spreading a little unconditional love. Help us to remember we are all sinners in an imperfect shell casing and our bullets are only damaging if not spirit filled. Help us to seek the good in all things and deflect that which is a distraction from loving with a pure heart.

If done in a loving way so as to not harm or humiliate, are we ministering to a wound and applying a little tender love and care? Aren't we to reach out as Jesus did, to be present if someone is in need? Aren't we to love and treat others without malice or ill will? Do we ever know the heart of another? Is it for us to know their heart or to simply love them?

It is okay to apply the wound care and then back away so God can do His true handiwork. We may not always understand the work God has us do. Often we may not feel good about the outcome, but we do it anyway, or at least try and try again, because this time here on earth is not for our glory, but for His and while we do not understand we will trust in His allowances.

Why do we want so much to have a life of trusting in God and serving Him and yet we deny Him? Sometimes our denial is all too often to the point of regular. Do we feel frustration when we fall short of the expectations to live in the teachings of His word? Will we forgive ourselves our shortcomings and resume our attempts at being Christ-like? More importantly, will we forgive as we are forgiven?

We can love like that if trusting and seeking Him alone. We are His, living in the conviction that there is much work to do. Messing up is inevitable even those worshiping or praising are still having difficulty holding to these teachings when in the “real world!”

We must know that when learning, working and serving God we are vulnerable to attack. There is no greater desire of Satan than to pull us away. It's our job as a unified body to accept that we will be pulled, but we can encourage one another leading back to His plan for us in any given predicament? Will we accept that people don't want to harm us, but rather help? They also need to know they can rely on that same help when in a weakened state themselves.

Isaiah 54:15-17 NIV
If anyone attacks you, it will not be my doing; whoever attacks you will surrender to you. “See, it is I who created the blacksmith who fans the coals into flame and forges a weapon fit for its work. And it is I who have created the destroyer to wreak havoc; no weapon forged against you will prevail, and you will refute every tongue that accuses you. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and this is their vindication from me,” declares the Lord.

None of us is perfect our flaws evident yet purposeful, through disillusionment we become confused disjointed understanding the whys of sin escapes us, however, seeking a Christ-like view brings clarity.

We must come to an agreement that understanding is not just a word, but rather an action, thus seeing weakness in others is better utilized as the reflector of our own sins and the humble mirroring of God's grace given to us, the undeserving.

If God allows an experience He will teach us through it, but human nature tends to apply experiential interpretation as opposed to true understanding. Encourage one another to see the mercy provided, imperfect though we are, we must love with a spirit filled perfection.

True lovers are aware that brokenness seeks to heal and our hearts should burst with a willingness to do His works.

Unfortunately, sins have imprisoned within this lack of luster snow globe acting as one nation under God. But, we are indivisible, if we focus on being the body of Christ. We are here in this façade for a short time. One day the globe will crack and we will be made perfect in Him.

If you have slipped it's okay, God is reaching down to scoop you back up. You can fail a thousand times and He will forgive you. Try again, what do you have to lose? Ask Him in again. Ask Him to forgive you and believe in the unity of our one nation under God indivisible.

Place God over nation, use diplomacy rather that force. Think of alternatives to war. See "How would Jesus see the Gettysburg Address" or "Encouragement for America" hubs.

Awesome Hub, I have taught my sons that they are to stand up for what they believe and not let others knock them down. Who cares what others think? We are who we are period.
