If God is perfect, then why didn’t He just make us perfect and do away with sin all together?

Updated on February 17, 2009

The perfect creation

Question: If God is perfect, then why didn’t He just make us perfect and do away with sin all together?

Answer:

To ask this question would imply that you have no idea what true love is. If God did away with free will He too would do away with true love in place of programmed love. You can program a computer to say “I love you”, but can it really mean it? Of course not. The point most of us are missing is that this is only a small part of a larger picture. God did make a perfect creation, and if we don’t stop trying to justify our lifestyles by denying God’s existence, then we are going to miss what God has planned. It’s never been put into words better than, “If you love something let it go, and if it comes back to you, it’s yours.” God let us go in this creation and if we come back to Him, we are His, and those who don’t will be forever lost. Those of us who do, will see perfection.

I'd rather be programed to love than to have the choice, and face eternal fire/cease to exist (which ever is your definition of Hell) if I did not make the "right" choice. For example: I would not say to a man that I loved him, and wished to marry him, but it is his choice to marry me, however if he did not choose to marry me I would torture him for the rest of eternity/destroy his being (again, depending on your definition of Hell).

Though I believe in God, I cannot understand how he can be love, how this kind of relationship can be love. It is extortion.

We was, and how boring is that, then he put us down here so we could make misstake and make our self a personality so we can be together again, no one alike but yet god anyway, and much more fun to be whith.........or somthing.

      Jesus saves,

Thank you, God’s Word may be offense, but we don’t have to be.

Love your statement.  May I just add the extra words that I heard with it?“If you love something let it go, and if it comes back to you, it’s yours.  If it doesn’t come back to you, it never was yours.”

Thanks and keep writing.  ~ eddie

God's plan is perfect and free will is a scientific impossibilty and unscriptural. Embrace the truth, not church doctrine. Go to bible-truths.com
