If It Really Does Hit The Fan

Updated on May 30, 2012

There's something in the air

whispering in my ear,

flying in my hair.

Mumblings and rumbles of the times just up ahead.

No more money

People hungry

Society being bled.

It's not little Big Brother

More like great Big Daddy now

The Fatherland on the rise.

No surprise.

To the people looking out.

So when it hits the fan

For woman and for man

Where will you be?

Will you just take a seat?

On the train to nowhere...

Will you eat your dog?

Will you die in a crowd?

Will you walk into the countryside?

With nothing in your mouth.

Will you stand in lines for a crust of bread?

Will you put your last bullet

into your loved one's head?

Your daddy just don't care.

That's one less rat to cage.

It's all about those piles of gold

And not the people's rage.

No not the people's pain.

Or the pills that they can't buy.

Never even knowing...

The pills just helped them die.

Because it's all wrapped up in business

You can buy it at the store.

And Daddy only wants one thing.

For you to want it more.

And ignore....

The cripple on the street.

He fought Dig Daddy's wars.

The mamas down and out

Who turned into skinny whores.

Daddy eats off golden plates

He ride in areoplanes

While we grovel at Tea Parties

Lashing out the blame.

They have many plastic coffins

Lined up and on the ground

To stuff somebodies into

When the right time rolls around.

It's all about those piles of gold

To make them feel real good

They know their paper money

Is only used in the neighborhood.

Just like in Monopoly

Suckers play the game.

Yeah, we're the pawns,

You and me,

we're all just the same

Because Daddy likes to play.

And someone's got to pay.

When it finally hits the fan.

I see these same kind of train cars rolling by my town all the time, and they are ALWAYS empty. No matter which direction they're heading. So if you think they're for automobiles, I'd like to say, there are no car manufactures within thousands of miles of where I live. But there is a great big military base less than a hundred miles away.

When it all hit the fan

I was climbing out of the pan

The fire seemed not as hot

I missed the point and plot

      I didn't learn from history

It all seemed like a mist to me

      But I'll contemplate my scoffin'

      In my tupperware coffin

If you pass by don't disturb me

Just crack the lid and burp me.

      =:)

Jeremey, you are more than welcome!

singlmomat52, we can hope I guess, but it seems that we usually end up with the same old situation, and worse with each new election.

Wealthmadehealthy, thank you! Not only for the comment, but for your awaerness!

carolina muscle, that is a very meaningful question! For those who do not know... As per Wikipedia: "The Posse Comitatus Act is a United States federal law (18 U.S.C. § 1385) passed on June 18, 1878, after the end of Reconstruction, with the intention (in concert with the Insurrection Act of 1807) of substantially limiting the powers of the federal government to use the military for law enforcement. The Act prohibits most members of the federal uniformed services (today the Army, Navy, Air Force, and State National Guard forces when such are called into federal service) from exercising nominally state law enforcement, police, or peace officer powers that maintain "law and order" on non-federal property (states and their counties and municipal divisions) within the United States.

The statute generally prohibits federal military personnel and units of the National Guard under federal authority from acting in a law enforcement capacity within the United States, except where expressly authorized by the Constitution or Congress. The Coast Guard is exempt from the Act."

However the "Patriot Act" has probably nullified posse comutatus.

Dim Flaxenwick, yes it is sad, but to be aware is to be impowered.

Okay buddy, if I'm not in there with you I will see about burping you!

Thanks to all for reading and commenting!

      Blessings, and Peace!

I'm thinking you have seen The Cooper Report, if not check it out. We saw it about 10-15 years ago and learned about most of this during that time. People today are basically, cattle. We eat our grass (tv,work, play) and never pay attention to the direction we are herded. Unfortunately, even knowing isn't enough. As in history, so is today. Only one thing worked, action. Not necessarily militia, but peaceful action to start. Everyone has to wake up and participate. Thanks for spreading the word. We need to become involved in our govt. starting at the local levels.

I am glad I read this hub long after it was originally published---it made my blood run cold to view your video inserts. I was familiar with some of the information but not all. Intersecting your prose piece with the visual back story I thought was indeed "awesome." I will be visiting and reading more of your hubs seems I've required a taste for well done hubs. ty.
