If There Are Fields In Heaven

Updated on February 19, 2013

If there are Fields In Heaven

If there are any fields up in Heaven

Then I know where he will be found.

Strolling through God's fields of Glory

And listening to all it's Heavenly sound.

We know he will be happy up there,

There will be no sadness there in life.

No more days of sickness or any pain,

And no more trials of tears and strife.

I am sure if there are farms in Heaven

It's a place that all farmers will want to go .

What a place to check out their crop.

They could hardly wait to plow and sow !

Now just think of a happy farmer's face,

I can picture how it would be all aglow.

He could bask in the Heavenly sunlight

And just watch his golden harvest grow!

Perhaps Jesus would stop by him there

With a few Precious Words of Praise.

He knows he has never had such a crop

In a lifetime of all his tiring earthly days.

There's no need to work with a tractor there

A horse would go through the soil so fine.

And there's no need to think of days past,

Or think of our former life, his and mine.

He has worked hard all of his earthly life,

I can hardly think he will just sit still now.

The Lord may just have some other job

Instead of his usual, just to sow and plow.

I am sure that when we arrive in Heaven

And we see all this beautiful place Above,

The jobs that are assigned to us then

Can't be called work ,but a labor of Love !

At times ,when we sometimes think of it ,

This is the only place that we really know.

On the day The Lord calls out my name,

I am sure I will be ready and willing to go .

There have been so many changes here.

I am sure that we yearn for so much more.

We need our Godly laws again in place,

When someone knocks ,we open the door.

I am afraid that we have been taken so far

From the God fearing life this used to be.

Why does man think taking God from earth

Will make this a better world for you and me?

Clara Kish

Have you ever stopped to think what a place

this world would be if we had no hope of a

better life beyond our time here on this earth?

When we think back in our life to some of

the days and fellowships we used to have

with friends and neighbors,.Those days are

mostly gone now. So many people have a

completely different life style anymore.

So many people have to work over time or

2 jobs to be able to survive , there is no

time or energy left for themselves anymore.

I am sure that God never intended for us to

end up this way Somehow we seem to have

completely lost our way in this life. It's time

to turn back to God!

Hello Ann, It is good to hear from you and I am glad that you think I am doing some good on here, sometimes I wonder what people think . When I first came on here I did not know if people would accept my kind of poems and I was pleasantly surprised that they did . No,I don't have the computer yet . You sent a video of a little girl but so far I have not been able to play it, If I can ever catch John when he isn't busy I'll see if he can find out what is wrong. Are you on Facebook? I have been starting to post on there when a new poem is published on my FB page.Yes, I will email you later, bye now .Clara

Hello Lambservant, Thank you for your comments,I appreciate every one that I get. I am not sure how things will be when we get to Heaven, but if we have a farm there you will be welcome to come and visit us and hopefully we can break bread together. It's a nice thought to keep in mind .

Clara, your poems and your heart are so dear and precious. When I get to heaven I'd like to come by your farm and break bread made from your crop of wheat.

Thank You ,Tessie, I am glad that you ;like it. I am sure if he had had his choice he would have died in the field instead of being in bed all of that time , but then he would not have been that close to God. God always knows best even if we have our mind set on what we think is important at the time. I was not sure if you had received my email the way this was messed up . Wayne said it was either the computer or the network , I told him maybe it was both ,all of the trouble that I have on here. Thanks for your comment , love you , Cherry

A very good Poem, my dear Friend. If Frank could read this he would probably smle. He loved to work the land and raise bountiful crops. He even worked on the farm when he wasn't actually physically able. I feared one day they would bring him from the field.

However, he was doing the kind of work he liked best. I hope in Heaven he will have the kind of job that he likes most and his choice of jobs but if just to sit and rest, he deserve that too as he worked hard here on earth. I send my love, Tessie

Clara, you bring sunshine to rainy days with your God-given poetry. Yes, how glorious will be our time when we are finally back home with our Heavenly Father and Jesus and Holy Spirit - all in one. I could see the fields as I was reading. God Bless you.
