short story. If this is what you believe?

Updated on March 8, 2012

Is this what you believe?

This night as I laid up in my bed, relaxing a little, watching the football game

between the Saints and the Lions. There is no other way I could put this. I was suddenly stopped by this urge which came over me, to get up and write down this newest experience I have been through today.

I was speaking to one of my neighbors. I am already aware that she would very much love to go to Heaven when the time comes, or when sh dies, but from what she had told me, I am convinced, that quite a few people, are totally confused and seeing things in quite z selfish way, when coming to things of God, and in what's in the Bible.Though I have read the Bible myself, I did so to have my own personal experience, and understanding,

I for one don’t like getting into any debate about the Bible, because of what I have read and also what I believe.

First I had this useless and heated conversation with my sister, sometime back, and now here comes my neighbor, and all I could conclude in my mind, is that they attend the same church.

But I know that is not the truth, but now I am wondering if people are simply selfishly and for their own satisfaction, allowing their reoccurring weaknesses to have them distort what was said in the Bible and what the Bible meant.

My sister told me and she was quite upset that God is a forgiving God. This I know. Her reason for this profound statement, was because she said: “To err is human” That’s also true.

But what else is there that we know of but us humans?

Here this day as I was saying to my neighbor, and I said: girl If God comes today I would not make it to Heaven, because of what been occupying my mind for the entire month now. She quickly said to me: Don’t say that! Just ask the Lord to forgive you and he will. He is a forgiving God.

I have been on this earth for a substantial amount of time and there is one saying that I heard since I was a little boy, and it is: What goes around comes around.

I have watch that statement comes to pass each and every time it was merited.

In this reality, you are either on Gods side or on the side of the Devil or evil. I would quote a few pieces of scripture, but not for the reason of proving, but rather to ask you and those that are having the same ideas, their opinion. After which you can come to your own conclusion.

First let me ask you this question, again to which I really don’t need an answer, your truth is my satisfaction.

If you have this child that's a drug addict, and a thief. He have already stolen just about everything from your house, even going into your savings at the bank using fraudulent measures.

What will be you course of action at this time when the police ask you it you want to bail him out?

Do you think that because God is a forgiving God, that it’s ok for you to go out each day and do the nasty, only to also come everyday and ask for forgiveness?

Tell me now what do you think the Bible verses means, in Galatians 6:7 it says: Be ye not deceived, God is not mocked as a man sow so shall he reap?

What do you think it means in John 14:15 it says: If you love me keep my commandments.

This statement on the bottom is so for me to understand, for even with my own family and friends. If they will continuously do me injustice, why must I be foolish, and listen their continuous mis -understanding?

It cannot be so, in the book of :

Joshua 24:15 and if it seemed evil to you to serve the LORD, choose you this day
that ye will serve.

The frequent asking of forgiveness, then, for those things in which we often
transgress, is the semblance of repentance, not repentance itself. ...

I firmly believe this.

We are humans alright but if we believe but cannot obey, the very same course of actions you would take if it’s your child that’s robbing every last thing out of your house, do the same.

Bless.
