In Gods Arms

Updated on June 18, 2011

Lay back on His everlasting arms, and know that if we seek Him with all our heart, He will come to us. There is no event or happening in our lives that can separate us from His great love for us. If something in our lives seems hard to deal with, His love for us shines through, and the knowledge of His presence with us, sustains us.

Dan 2:20-22

20 Daniel answered and said: "Blessed be the name of God forever and ever, for wisdom and might are His.

21 And He changes the times and the seasons; he removes kings and raises up kings; he gives wisdom to the wise and knowledge to those who have understanding.

22 He reveals deep and secret things; he knows what is in the darkness, and light dwells with Him.

Jer 29:12-13

12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you.

13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.

Matt 7:7-8

7 "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

8 "For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.

John 14:16-18

16 "And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever--

17 "the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.

18 "I will not leave you orphans; I will come to you.

John 15:9

9 "As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.

James 1:17-18

17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning.

18 Of His own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures.

I Jn 3:23

23 And this is His commandment: that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Beautiful and inspirational hub. There have been times in my life when I couldn't feel God's loving arms, but like the "Footprints in the Sand" story I would later look back and see those were the very times God invisibly carried me through to a place of love and peace.

God Bless you for sharing this hub. Am voting it up, useful, awesome and beautiful.
