In Whom Do We Believe
Shalom, and good morning!! יהוה is so good … all the time!! And, all the time, יהוה is so good!! My son-in-love, Louis, posted a really good quote this morning; “The walls we build around us to keep sadness out, also keep out the joy.” Think about that this morning. Do you build up walls all around you because you have been neglected, rejected, unfriended, or feel unloved? Just know that these same walls you have built to protect yourself from further hurt also make it [nearly] impossible to increase in יהוה’s perspective, plan, and purpose. I love you! More importantly, and more so, יהוה loves you; let Him in.
My Grands, My Kids, My Husband, My Mom
I have written about the definition of belief/believe and I have written about what to believe; but, most of us have a someone in whom we believe. I believe in my grand glams- by the middle of August I will have six. I believe these six beautiful babies (Gabriel, Raven, Jade, Connor, Skylar, and Brooklinn) will bring their full potential in all that they do for a better future, for them and for the rest of us. I believe in my eight children (Melissa, Adam, Taysa, Caleb, Breanna, Michaela, Jackson, and Alana). Each one of my children have their own special talents making it possible for them to give to the world entire another piece of the humanity puzzle. I believe in my husband, Mark. I might argue with him about a thing or two here, there, and everywhere; but, more times than not, Mark has the answer I need, and he’s been able to help others along the way, too. I believe in my mom, Sue. She’s a hardworking woman who thinks she has to take care of everyone and everything all the time; although, she is known to crazy loco with the Starbucks coffees on occasion (I love you, Mom!). I believe in my siblings (Jimmy, Franky, Danielle, Jennifer, and Matthew). These five are a driving force in my life; they might not always know it and I often neglect to tell them, but they are.
But, none of these people in whom I believe could be people in whom I believe if I didn’t first believe (to believe is defined as to trust) first in יהוה, His Son יהושﬠ, and His Ruach HaKodesh. I must have a firm foundation of belief, know what I believe, and know in whom I believe in order for everything else in my life to fall into its proper place, including my fondest relationships.
I believe in יהוה Elohim.
I believe in, have faith in, give honor to, obey, and trust יהוה Elohim, my Creator, my YAH (G-d), my Protector, my Provider …
Tehillim (Psalms) 28:7--”יהוה is my strength, and my shield; my heart has trusted Him, and I have been helped; therefore my heart exults, and with my song I thank Him.”
Tehillim (Psalms) 112:7--”[Mem] He is not afraid of an evil report. [Nun] His heart is steadfast, trusting in יהוה.”
Yochanan (John) 1:12--”But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing in His Name.”
Yochanan (John) 5:24--”Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me possesses everlasting life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.”
Romiyim (Romans) 10:17--”So then belief comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Elohim.”
Ib’rim (Hebrews) 11:1--”And belief is the substance of what is expected, the proof of what is not seen.”
I believe in יהושﬠ.
I believe in, have faith in, give honor to, obey, and trust יהושﬠ, my Rabbi (Teacher), my Redeemer, my Shepherd …
Marqos (Mark) 9:24--”And immediately the father of the child cried out and said with tears, ‘I believe Master, help my unbelief!’”
Yochanan (John) 3:16--”For Elohim so loved the world that He gave His only brought-forth Son, so that everyone who believes in Him should not perish but possess everlasting life.”
Yochanan (John) 20:31--”But these have been written so that you believe that יהושﬠ is the Messiah, the Son of Elohim, and that, believing you might possess life in His Name.”
Ma’asei (Acts) 16:31--”And they said, ‘Believe on the Master יהושﬠ ha-Meshiach, and you shall be saved, you and your household.”
Helpful Guidance and Leading from Ruach HaKodesh
I can believe in, have faith in, give honor to, obey, and trust יהוה and יהושﬠ only by allowing Ruach HaKodesh (the Holy Spirit) a place in my life, to guide me and lead me in all truth and Truth (יהושﬠ) …
Mikah (Micah) 3:8-10--”But truly I am filled with power, with the Spirit of יהוה, and with right-ruling and with might, to declare to Ya’aqov his trangsgression and to Yisra’el his sin. Hear this, please, you heads of the house of Ya’aqov and you rulers of the house of Yisra’el, who despise right-ruling and distort all that is straight, those building up Tsiyon with bloodshed and Yerushalayim with unrighteousness.”
Luqas (Luke) 24:45-49--”Then He opened their minds to understand the Scriptures, and said to them, ‘Thus it has been written, and so it was necessary for the Messiah to suffer and to rise again from the dead the third day, and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in His Name to all nations, beginning at Yerushalayim. And you are witnesses of these matters. And see, I am sending the Promise of My Father upon you, but you are to remain in the city of Yerushalayim until you are clothed with power from on high.’”
Yochanan (John) 3:6-8--”That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You have to be born from above.’ The wind blows where it wishes, and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it goes. So is everyone who has been born of the Spirit.”
Yochanan (John) 16:13--”But when He comes, the Spirit of the Truth, He shall guide you into all the truth. For He shall not speak from Himself, but whatever He hears He shall speak, and He shall announce to you what is to come.”
A Final Thought
I hope (expect) and pray that all of you have an awesome day. Walk in His perspective, plan, and purpose with His perspective, plan, and purpose so that you can share with others His perspective, plan, and purpose. And, don’t forget, I love you. More importantly, and more so, יהוה loves you.
