Are You Sent in the Name of Christ?
There are many people in the religious community who are involved in the commercial enterprise called Church. Usually, they will ask you whether you go to Church or not, and if you say yes, they will want to know what Church you go to and the name of the denomination that you are affiliated with. Most Church members are representatives of the name that they associate with. In essence, they conduct themselves in the name that gives them their security, respect, power and authority.
Those who have been in service such as a policeman, or as a military officer are given power to enforce the laws, and are sent out to employ them in the name of the Lawmakers. The power of an enforcement officer does not come from the individual, but from the institution, or the government entity that creates and sets the laws for the land. The officers would be the representatives of that particular institution.
As you can see, those who are part of the affairs of the state or religion are representatives of the name of a certain entity that pertains to the affairs of their conduct in the world.
In similar fashion, those among the Ekklesia do all things in the name of Jesus Christ within the affairs and conduct of the Kingdom of God. They are living stones who are utilized by Jesus Christ to preach the Gospel of Grace to the world until the Father decides when the work comes to an end. When those among the Ekklesia go out as representatives of the Kingdom of God into the world, they do not do so by their own natural power, but by the authority they are given as disciples in the Spirit of Christ.
As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God’s varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the STRENGTH THAT GOD SUPPLIES—in order that in EVERYTHING GOD MAY BE GLORIFIED THROUGH JESUS CHRIST. To him belong glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen. – 1 Peter 4:10-11
In Whose Name???
Unfortunately, the Church system defies the Word of God that they believe they so closely associate with. Every helping hand, missionary trip, prayer, meeting and many other man-made endeavours that they do in their communities and abroad is done in the name of their pastor, Church and denominational name-brand. They fail to understand that ALL true disciples of Jesus Christ do not go out in their own name, Church name, or denominational brand-name, but ONLY in the name of Jesus Christ.
Jesus had warned his followers of what would come in the last days and it is important to understand his message that applies today.
For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I AM THE CHRIST,’ and they will lead many astray. – Matthew 24:5
Jesus was referring to counterfeit religious Church system where many of her members who would come in his name. These people would be part of the Church system created by men who would do all of their religious works in Jesus’ name. In fact, these religious men would have great authority, strength, reputations and great glory they would give themselves while professing to associate with the teachings of Jesus Christ.
For false Christ’s and false prophets will arise and PERFORM SIGNS AND WONDERS, to lead astray, if possible, the elect. But be on guard; I HAVE TOLD YOU ALL THINGS BEFOREHAND. – Mark 13:22-23
Those within the Church system have no idea who the false Christ’s that Jesus was referring to. They blindly believe that these men are radical cult leaders, or some religious politician(s) who would rise to great prominence proclaiming that he is the Christ.
Could it be that they have it all wrong and that Jesus was referring to the counterfeit of the Ekklesia, which is the Church system?
- Was Jesus referring to a coming Antichrist, or was he warning of the many false prophets, teachers, ministers and the many others that give themselves ecclesiastical titles who are sent by the devil to sow seeds for his kingdom, leading the masses down the wide road to destruction?
I believe Jesus was speaking about the professing Church (spiritual Babylon), not to those who are outside of her.
But FALSE PROPHETS also arose among the people, just as there will be FALSE TEACHERS among you, who will secretly bring in DESTRUCTIVE HERESIES, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. And many will follow their sensuality, and because of them the way of TRUTH WILL BE BLASPHEMED. And in their GREED they will exploit you with false words. Their condemnation from long ago is not idle, and their destruction is not asleep. – 2 Peter 2:1-3
There are many “anointed” men within the Church system. These are the “false Christ’s” Jesus was referring to. We must clearly understand that Jesus has the title Christ because he is the anointed one because the Father has given it to him. The “false Christ’s” also have an “anointing” and power, but it is given to them by Satan.
The Prophet, Priest and King
The Old Testament reveals that there was special anointing given to men by God. It was given to the prophets, priests and kings until Jesus Christ fulfilled his purpose given to him by his Father.
And you shall put them on Aaron your brother, and on his sons with him, and shall ANOINT THEM and ordain them and consecrate them, that they may serve me AS PRIESTS. – Exodus 28:41
And Samuel said to Saul, “The LORD sent me to ANOINT YOU KING over his people Israel – 1 Samuel 15:1
And Jehu the son of Nimshi you shall ANOINT TO BE KING over Israel, and Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel-meholah you shall ANOINT TO BE PROPHET in your place. – 1 Kings 19:16
Jesus Christ has been given the Name above all names and was given the high position of Prophet, Priest and King. The Churches of men have ignored this and given these names to themselves so that they can have control instead.
The Ekklesia do not have men who are kings ruling over them; they do not have priests to do atoning rituals on their behalf, and do not have to go to prophets to hear from God for them, or to know the Word of God.
Those who have the spirit of Christ within them already have all they need.
What does this mean?
ALL the ministry and service in the Body of Christ such as serving, teaching, healing, etc… is ALL done through the HEAD, which is Jesus Christ. There are NO individuals in the Kingdom of God. The Ekklesia are a spiritual family of brothers and sisters who are led by their elder brother Jesus Christ. The anointing of the Father comes ONLY through Jesus Christ down his robe to those who are truly joined to him as a family in one spirit; one with the Father and the Son.
The “anointing” of Satan falls upon men who are in and of themselves in their own names, but the anointing of God comes simply from being in oneness with Christ. Doing what God wills in obedience to Him will bring true anointing and authority, but the false "anointing" comes from what man have conceived themselves.
False Christ’s are in direct opposition to the will of God as they give credence to their own man-made doctrines and traditions. They act upon their own names they have given themselves on the behalf of their denominational creeds as members of organized religion.
Those among the Ekklesia do not act on the behalf of their emotions, desires, will, and power, but are in alignment with the Head as a member of the Body of Christ tapped into the power of the Spirit of Christ.
The source of power that comes from the Church system comes from another “Christ” and another “spirit” masked as an “angel of light.” These men claim to have "anointing" and teach in the “name of Christ,” but this is an illusion.
The way to identify a false Christ is by what they claim to be. If they say they are “the anointed of God,” then they are exposed for the FALSE CHRISTS they are.
In fact, they will twist Old Testament Scripture and say, “Touch not my anointed ones…” and use fear tactics saying that disagreeing with them is heresy and will lead to disaster. These are coercive measures to keep you silent.
There is absolutely no reason to fear these men because Jesus Christ has already warned us beforehand that they would come and preach their false doctrines to deceive many. The sole purpose of these religious men are to exalt themselves in high positions so that they can lord over others for their own self-interests, ambitions and glorification.
For such men are FALSE apostles, DECEITFUL workmen, DISGUISING themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. – 2 Corinthians 13-15
Jesus Christ is Head of his Ekklesia, but false Christ’s want Headship for themselves as they use domination and manipulation tactics in their Nicolaitan ways. This is the epitome of the Church system where the ecclesiastical priest class elevate themselves as clergy hirelings giving themselves titles such as Pastor, Apostle, Doctor, Reverend, Prophet, etc… to rule over the masses. These men are not servants; their aim is to influence for control. They are arrogant prideful men who are self-serving lovers of money who make a living off the backs of the people. They make themselves unapproachable and resort to abusive behaviors when their underlings don’t give them the accolades and the flattery they think they deserve. The abomination of it all is that they do all these things in Jesus’ name.
The leaders in the Church system are a special breed, but God hates their deeds. We can be sure that they will get the justice that they deserve in due time.
The Ekklesia must be vigilant and not be deterred, nor bow down to these men, but warn others and expose them for who they are in their plots, schemes, illusions and deceptions. Don’t be deceived, Satan loves to offer earthly thrill and power to men knowing that they will give up the hope of their salvation for it.
Everyone who goes on ahead and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. Whoever abides in the teaching has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, DO NOT RECEIVE HIM INTO YOUR HOUSE OR GIVE HIM ANY GREETING, FOR WHOEVER GREETS HIM TAKES PART IN HIS WICKED WORKS. – 2 John 1:9-11
I don’t know about you, but I do not want to take part in the wicked works of false Christ’s. We must have the discernment to know by what and whose name someone is sent.
A disciple of Jesus Christ will be sent in the name of Jesus Christ ONLY.
A Christian within the Church system will be sent in the name of their pastor via the name of their Church building via their denominational affiliation all wrapped up in the name of “Jesus.” There is a big difference, but many are completely blind to the distinction.
Who sends you?
Do you come in the name of “Christ” who approves of the temple system called Church?
Do you come in the name of Christ who abolished the temple system to create his Ekklesia?
- Men with Titles in False Churches
The modern “church” is full of men with titles, but these professional titles that are pinned upon these men do not come from God, but men themselves.
- Church, the Theater of Hypocrisy
When the church institution is weighed and tested with the blueprint of the New Testament, it fails miserably. Their system is completely contrary to the record of the Apostles and Jesus Christ.
- The Kingdom of the Pastors
In the Kingdom of the pastors there is a tradition of converting people to membership to an institution and a life of giving their time, finances and abilities under the control of the their kings.
- Are You a "Christian," or a Disciple?
The vast majority of people who associate with man-named buildings call themselves “Christians.” This is a religious label that defines whom their allegiance is to.
