In Search of Spiritual Identity

Updated on April 27, 2014

Michael Silverman O Come O Come Emmanuel

Lost as a sheep in a foggy meadow

I cling to earth like a waning shadow

With cuffed wings of a broken bird

Bruised and stilled with voices unheard.

I bend on my knees and looked at your gaze

Your piercing eyes, I fell all dazed

Lord ,I have not a word to say to you

But you know my heart and my soul too.

I drifted apart and I have gone

I didn't stop until I was done.

I wasn't wise and left your fold

Only to succumb to life's bitter cold.

Tempted and lured to earth's disguise

The fool I was, greeted my own demise

My peony life beaten and crushed

Nothing left and immensely trashed.

Your shrouded mystery I couldn't grasp

I, a lost soul , caged in a trap

Bewitched,bewildered with mundane treasure

Blinded with gilded satanic pleasure.

I doubted myself how far can I go

Without YOU,Lord, I honestly do not know

Without your guiding hands,I cannot tread

Farther and farther is an endless road ahead.

What have I done, I dared to ask

I know in my heart I failed the task

You looked at me with a loving trust

Humbled and sad,I return to you,at last.

      Peaceful, my Sweet Nomad.

The weather is improving too. Some work and some God-loving manifestation. God is good.

So kind of you to ask. All praise, my loving Friend.

That's great. God is always good. I have yet to see a day that HE wasn't even those times when we are against all odds.

Very nicely done. It is best for some people to be with the rest of the flock, to be held within the arms of our Higher Power.
