Love is very broad like a puzzle with thousands of pieces. In order to solve the puzzle, we will surely need help

Religion is a nation-building mechanism in history. It meets many different needs for the people, society, and the whole world. It acts like a glue that binds people with common beliefs, practices, and rituals. It also tends to promote cooperation among ourselves and other people that provides triumph of the whole over the individual. On the other hand, love is the most powerful emotion that a person can give and experience. Love is used as an expression of affection and pleasure to someone or something. It expresses human virtue that is based on compassion, affection, and kindness.

People often crave a better understanding of the world and religion seeks to answer our questions. It also makes the purpose to give life greater meaning which is needed when it comes to love.

Love and religion, why is it connected?

Love is a concept or term that needs in-depth understanding. Love is an emotion in action. You can learn how to feel and cultivate your love. It is a word that is an agreement to express ideas or feelings. The meaning of this word is not absolute and it will be always a personal interpretation. The group of feelings associated with the word love is difficult to understand and even more difficult to express.

Love is so hard to understand and this is where religion comes through. With the help of religion this word love can be understood more. You will know that the love you feel for your partner is not the same as the love you feel for your mother. You feel different emotions for different situations and people. There are lessons in religion that can teach you that love is always beautiful and if it is not beautiful, it is not love.

We can say that love and religion is like a bridge. Marriage is the result of love and religion is the one binding them together. If the couple have different religions, each parties respects both religion and resolves it through an agreement like a bridge that connects two unconnected people together in their lifetime.

As a conclusion, in terms of romantic love, religion is important. It is a thing that will be in us forever up to the last generation of human race. Love and religion will always be connected to one another just like the couples who truly love each other. Even though marriage can also be done through law, the one that is done in church is one of the traditions that can’t be removed by time. Even though love and religion are perceived by lovers and believers to be morally pure. It is considered as a major factor leading to a moral life. However, despite their profound moral value, both love and religion have been used as an excuse for justifying immoral deeds, as in the example of religious wars, personal atrocities, murdering the beloved in the name of love.
