Insane World

Updated on March 26, 2013

Seek and You Shall Find

If you believe something to be true you can always find evidence to support your belief. If you believe something to be false you can always find evidence to support your belief. Whatever you believe to be true or false will be supported by some people and rejected by others.

Because we can always find evidence to support what we believe to be true or false then this should lead us to realise that our beliefs are not truth. Surely truth is something that is independent of the opinion of the observer and is something that everyone would agree upon! If we can never find full agreement from everyone on anything then surely we must conclude that what we hold true are merely illusions based on opinion.

In this physical world we can always find what we look for because it is the mind that creates the world we experience. It is the mind that holds the whole universe in it including everything imaginable.

The Mind Manifests what we Perceive as Real

If I can imagine something and if I desire it enough then unless there are unconscious obstacles I can make it real in the physical world. This is not new knowledge. The ancients knew this and this knowledge has been handed down from generation to generation. However, unless we reach a certain level of awareness we are blind to it.

If what you are reading now is resonating within you then you are ready to access the knowledge that everything we experience in this physical world started as a thought in the mind. Imagination and feeling are essential ingredients in the process of manifesting thought as physical reality.

We are conditioned from birth to believe that this physical world is 'real'. We are taught that what we perceive is 'true'. Eventually we actually start believing our own thoughts.

If believing our illusions to be true is a definition of insanity then are we not all insane living in an insane world?

Yes, I see where you are coming from diogenes and your point is a very valid one as long as you continue to trust the judgments you make up in your head that are based on the information you receive through your five senses. It is the meaning we attach to what we see that makes 'sense' of the nonsense we then call reality! Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment.

Yes...but it's not insane to believe all you see - or create - is real when you have no other method of judging such reality EXCEPT with the mind that creates it. I am half convinced we "create" the universe we see as thoughts, but if our creation is not true, how can any other reality be true either?

      Enjoyable reading
