Intelligence and God, As One
Could our God and Creator so be,
a universal intelligence, was meant, is He,
Evolved, himself, in the limitless void,
to give all life, and to be enjoyed?
Was his force meant to preserve,
to increase all worlds, His watch to serve.
Prolonging and to expand the stars above,
a guarantee of a celestial love?
Could all of this be a living shrine,
in a perpetual grace, as in the gift of our mind,
When will those who doubt and some to refuse,
accept the truth, in their rights to choose?
Would stars still shine in heaven's, so wide,
as planets and moons, within each abide,
If mankind denies, and not to proclaim,
the creator and His intelligence, are one, and the same?
The life force spins and presents its gifts,
and those that accept, in their spirits, it lifts,
All creatures and plants upon this earth,
share in the dance of the living's fine mirth.
When each so lives under sun and moon,
to sing and play, and by all, this tune,
Should we forget to give our thanks, sincere,
and our creator's presence, to revere?
Within humanity's last inward thoughts,
and with their final fond breaths,
Does each so express a disbelief,
this, before their deaths?
While knowing in all certainty,
their souls, are soon to fly,
Do they beseech their God,
asking forgiveness, in their cry?
