Is There a Philadelphia Church Today

Jesus Christ says there will be a group of called out Christians that will comprise His beloved Philadelphia Church of God today, Revelation 3:7-13. There are several differing groups and churches that claim to be that church in the endtime. But are they really? Do they keep God's Commandments and Holy Days? Do they recognize God's marvelleous relationship with us through a Godhead that speaks of Their glorious attributes as Father- Yahuweh, Son-Yeshua - Jesus Christ, and our Holy Spirit Mother, Ruach HaKadosh? How else can that Church be identified as a church of brother and sister love if this simply understanding is missing? Jesus spoke about this relationship in John 3:3-8,16.The apostle Paul also spoke of this wonderful relationship in Ephesians 1:1-13; 2:10-22; 3:1-.21.

What is so different about this little group that makes it stand out from all the rest of the Christian churches? Is it a big church with lots of strength and support to do God's work or is it a smaller group with hardly enough strength (financially or physically) to do their part of His work but they continually keep doing it, Revelation 3:8?

Jesus says it is a faithful church that is consistent with God's grace and His Egalitarian teachings and movement. That He has set before this church an open door to restore the relationship of the fathers to their children and the children to the fathers, Malachi 4:6. Isn't this way, best achieved when men and women are working together equally in God's work as brothers and sisters, husbands and wives. A time when men stop abusing their female church members, spouses, mothers, sisters, aunts and female friends and future wives, Malachi 2:12-17; 3:1-6.. Satan's greatest achievement has been to distort God's gospel of grace and our family relationship starting in, Genesis 3:1-19. One of major Keys in this Church, which Jesus and the Holy Spirit have laborously labored to restore is family relationships from the curse in these last days before He returns. It is being done through Biblical Equality, Revelation 3:8-10.

The Philadelphia Church is promised protection from the hour of temptation when God strikes the earth with the Great Tribulation curse? Their relationship is one that requires great patience in that they continue to teach a relationship based on gender equality and submission to their husband Jesus Christ, in servant leadership which includes God's grace, Revelation 3:10, Galatians 3:28-29, Ephesians 5:1-2,9,16-33?

Will there be such a church today? God says there will be one that is led by Jesus Christ and they recognize the Holy Spirit as their Mother, Revelation 12:1-14. So, where is that church today? Is it being put together now? Can Christians for Biblical Equality be this church? Well, it can be part of it if it wants to be because it is a movement that is laying the foundation for this church through Biblical Equality, and that Philadelphian Church will come together just before the Great Tribulation, Matthew 24:21, the Time of Jacob's Trouble, Jeremiah 30:7-17.

God knows who these Christ followers are in that they are not "leavened" by the pagan teachings of Sunday, Easter and Christmas and gender inequality. They must be a people that will come out of these teachings in the time just before all hell breaks loose on this earth, Revelation 18:4-5. They will keep God's Ten Commandments and Holy Days even as Jesus Christ set these examples for us, Exodus 12, & 20, Leviticus 23, John 7:37-39, Matthew 28:18-20.

Jesus Christ will keep his promise to His Church and will make all those that say they are spiritual Christians or Jews (Romans 2:28-29) but are false Christians, (and follow a false grace and are still under the curse of Adam and Eve), to bow at their feet when He returns because the Philadelphians. have been faithful and have held unto their crowns through patience and obedience, Revelation 3:9-11. They are a scattered people today from many differing churches and small groups and maybe even a small part of one big 7th Day Church that says it is the Revelation 12:17, Laodicean Church, Revelation 3:14-22, but Christ and the Holy Spirit will bring this little faithful flock of Philadelphians together soon, Revelation 12:14, Isaiah 16:1-5 and Isaiah 26:20. and they will rule with Him in Jerusalem forever, Revelation 3:12-13, 5:10.

Is this church made up of the 144,000 mentioned in Revelation 7:4-8? It could be but there is a good possibility that the Philadelphia Church is another part of God's Church that will go to a place of safety. Even though these people in Revelation 7, are sealed they will be witnesses during this time and they cannot be killed. If you will notice in Revelation 7:4-8, there is one Tribe missing? There are only Twelve Tribes of Israel mentioned here when there should be thirteen. The Tribe of Dan is missing. This Tribe has been known to be the one that escapes persecution during hard times ( See the link: "The Tribes" by Yair Davidiy, under the Tribe of Dan and see what they did in chapter 13, page 227-246). This one Tribe seemed to have an ability to escape hard times. and is very good at spreading the Word of God to different parts of the world.

One of God's blessings to this Tribe given by their grandfather Jacob was that it would be elusive like a snake and wage a type of both spiritual and physical warfare. It also says that Dan will Judge his Tribe as a tribe of Israel. We know that Dan was certainly one of the physical tribes. But could there also be a spiritual Tribe likeone of the 144,000s? One that would be in a certain safe place like the Philadelphia Church, Genesis 49:18 and Revelation 12:13-16. Moses said they will flee to a place of safety, Dueteronomy 33:22. Though this may seem impossible to the average person, all things are possible with God and God will help them to achieve their goal. We shall soon see whether this is true or not, Isaiah 16:4; 26:20-21.

Some Bible students teach that the Worldwide Church of God started by Herbert W. Armstrong in 1933 was and is the Philadelphia Church Today. However there are a few things that keeps them from being that Church. One, they refuse to recognize the Holy Spirit Ruach HaKadosh as their Mother God. This means they are, two, a dualistic church and do not recognize the Elohim Godhead as a Triunity. This was brought into this church from the Church of God Seventh Day from the Freemason teachings of William Miller. When they split from Seventh Day Adventist church in the 1858-1860's and this could disqualify them from being led to a place of safety for 3 1/2 years. But three, they can be part of the 144,000 because these Splinter Groups keep God's weekly Sabbath Day and Holy Days tenaciously and this could qualify them as part of the 144,000 along with some Messianic Jews? Four,They will learn how to correct their mistake as they survive the Great Tribulation. Five, They do not share God's ministry with women and are at odds with Jesus Christ on this matter do to lack of deeper study, 1 Peter 2:4-10, Galatians 3:28-29. 7, Jesus Christ expects an egalitarian ministry in order to reap a big harvest of souls at His return, Matthew 9:37-38. Only time will tell.

Do you know any Philadelphians today? Are some in your church. Look around they are there testing all the spirits to see whether they are of God or not. These are the wheat of God's work who take God seriously and stick close to God's Son and are motivated by God's Spirit to get things done. They do listen to the angel of God and are careful to extract themslves from the works of the Devil, Revelation 18:4-5. They keep God's Sabbath and Holy Days and are gaining a right relationship with the Godhead because they truly belong to God, 1 Corinthians 3:16-17. There are some SDA members that are keeping them.

God has many people that will fulfill His Work of prophecy and no doubt many will be martyred and not all are Philadelphians or Laodiceans, but remember the dead will rise first and those that are alive will be caught up together with them and will go to Jerusalem to fight the army of the Beast and Satan. So whether you are a Philadelphian, Laodicean, 144,000 or part of the vast multitude( Revelation 7:9), We will be God's children forever and we will receive our rewards to rule here on the earth, Revelation 5:10; 20:1-4, Joel 2:1-32; 3:1-7,16-21, Zechariah 14:1-14, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-18.

God is faithful and will fill in all the details and finish His work here on earth. We shall have a 1,000 years of peaceful bliss here on the earth at the first harvest, starting on the Feast of Trumpets, Leviticus 23:24-25. Satan will be put away for awhile, Revelation 20:1-3, on the Day of Atonement, Leviticus 23:27-32. Even the deserts will blossom as a rose, Isaiah 35:1-10, Matthew 5:5, 1Thessalonnians 5:12-24. Are you ready, get set, Go! Amen!
