Mother Mary or also known as Maryam (Arabic), the Blessed Virgin Mary is identified in the New Testament and in the Quran as the Mother of Jesus. She is said to be the daughter of Joachim and Anne as named in the Protoevagelium of James.

Image of Mother Mary

According to the local newspaper, this image appeared a few days ago at a stairwell window in the private hospital. A large group of mostly Catholic believers have been congregating below the window and lighting candles and singing hymns in praise of Mother Mary. Due to this miracle, traffic has been heavy around the vicinity of this hospital. A devotee has said that the image is "amazing" and that "it is wonderful that our Mother has come to us in a hospital, where many are sick and crying out for help."

Another person, who went to investigate the image from the inside of the building said that the image was only visible from the outside However, the hospital has restricted access to the said window as news of this miracle spread far and had gone viral.

The local Catholic Church has withheld comments until the image has been verified and tested as a genuine image. The latest view from devotees is that the image has become clearer since Saturday. The image on the window panel is set to be moved to the Marian Church of our Lady of Lourdes. Eyewitness have also claimed that a new image of Jesus Christ is also forming in the window panel below that of the Mother Mary image.

Whether the image is that of the Blessed Mother Mary, I am not sure. If the image has sparked deeper faith among devotees, then it is a good thing. In the 20th century, Pope John Paul II and Pope Benedict XVI have said that "It is necessary to go back to Mary if we want to return to that "truth about Jesus Christ," "truth about the Church" and "truth about man." To me, this boils down to the faith and that we should always have unwavering faith towards God, regardless of religion as God will always take care of everything. We just need to have faith and trust in Him.
