Is it your own fault?

How to win at Hide and Seek

Does it seem as if God is far from you? Does it feel like He doesn’t answer your prayers or care about you? Does it seem like you are playing hide and seek with God, He is hiding and you can’t find Him?

Is it your own fault?

Do you acknowledge Him in your life or do you put Him on a shelf and only call upon Him when you want something from Him? How is your service to God doing these days? Do you volunteer, give your tithes, do you encourage others? How about sharing Jesus with others? Do you ask God for opportunities to share Jesus with others? If an opportunity arises to share Jesus, do you sulk away, ashamed to talk about Him? How much time do you spend every day reading your Bible? How much time do you spend every day talking with God and thanking Him for all His wonderful divine gifts He bless us with every day? How much time do you spend every day asking what you can do for God instead of whining like a little baby saying gimme gimme gimme Lord? Do you try to make deals with God: God if you do this for me, I will do that for you? When the Lord gives you what you ask, do you neglect to uphold your end of the deal?

That, people is an abusive relationship. Do you seriously expect God to hang around for that?

Ultimately you are doing what you do for one of two reasons: to serve oneself or to serve God. Unknown

Instead, why don’t you try to have a loving relationship with Him? Why don’t you ask Him to reveal Himself to you? Why don’t you ask what you can do for Him? Why don’t you take time every day to read His love letter to you, the Bible? Why don’t you start listening to Christian music?

Above all the grace and gifts that Christ gives to his beloved is that of overcoming self.
Francis of Assisi

When you do these things you will be amazed at just how close He will come to you. God is only as close to you as you let Him be. Joseph- Anthony: Green

Prayer: Oh please Jehovah Yahweh (God of His people) please guard my heart and mind to not stray away from You. I long for and thank you for the blessing of a wonderful close loving relationship with You. Please bless me with the privilege of coming closer to You minute by minute. I ask this in the name of our big brother, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May the sunshine of Jesus’ sweet love bless you today and every day

A great lesson to be heard and learned. Hope many seek Him out and do find he is what they need.
