It's Unfair To Blame The Lord

Updated on May 18, 2012

It's Unfair To Blame The Lord

It's so unfair for us to blame The Lord

When things don't always go our way.

We always thank and give Him Praise

When we have had a much better day.

He never did promise a bed of roses,

Sometimes thorns are what we'll see,

There in the very prickly place of all

Right there in the midst of it He will be.

Though you may sometimes wonder,

The time will come when you will know

Why The Lord has led you this way .

You will find it was to help you grow .

Those trials that often come our way

We know on Whom we can depend.

None on earth knows what is best.

Only Jesus knows the better blend.

If life gave you all that you wanted

With never a valley to go through,

Would you really depend on Jesus

If every want was handed to you ?

-------------------------------------------

Some young people have been given

everything that they wanted from the

time of childhood and they think that

God will do the same .God wants us

to grow up and be responsible adults

not clinging crybabys that have never

been told , "No ,you can't have that."

There may be many trials that may

come our way but Jesus will help us

through, It will not always be by giving

us what we want but by showing us

another way.Instead of always

asking for something ,be grateful for

what we have today and try to

give help to others who are not as

fortunate.You may not believe

it but there are many people in

this world who would be so glad to

have some of the benefits that we

take for granted today .If you look

around today you can always find

someone worse off than you are !

Hello MsDora, It's good to hear from you , thank you for your comment .If we go back in our memory to the past I am sure we will find that it wasn't God had deserted us but we had turned from God . I am sure God only wants the best for His children as loving parents do. Clara

No Ann,there is no reason to blame God for everything that happens but it seems like a lot of people do .My husband's last years were bad,I did not blame God for it . I prayed at the last for God to take him , He could not see, hear walk or talk and had to be in the bed all the time at last , For a man who had been busy all of his life and then to have to be taken care of like that was very bad for him.I am sure that you know how bad it was to see him in that shape, I am sure he is with Jesus now and no pain . he told me while he was still able that he didn't want to leave me but I am sure that I will see him again before too long.Love, clara

I went to a class at church for people who are dealing with grief. The first question they ask is: How many of you blame God for your loss. That was the silliest question I ever heard. I didn't respond. I just don't understand it. People who lay blame are not taking responsibility for their own actions.

Have a good weekend Clara. Ann

Hello Faith, Thank you for your comment, I am glad that you liked it . It seems like it is easy for some people to blame the Lord for things that go wrong but when everything goes right do we always thank Him for Blessings that He sends ? At times I believe there are sometimes phases in our life that we must go through but God will be with us to help and to comfort us.Clara
