Jesus: How shouldWe View Him?...Truth Is...
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus! Jesus! Jesus! Oh how they Love that name today! More than anytime in history Jesus' name is invoked; even more so than when he walked the earth as well as after his ressurection. In fact, when Jesus spoke the sermon on the mount he aluded to the fact that this phoenomenum would occur (Matthew 7:21-23). It's remarkable if you really look at the words there as although spoken before the first century of our era(the year 1 thru 2009), they describe the time we now live in to a "T"! Let's look at it...
First, understand that he was at that time describe the "time of the end"; and here's how he described it: "Many will say to me in that day'Lord, Lord have we not prophesied in thy nameand in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonders?..."
Now look at the fact that more than ever before so-called religous organizations are scattering all over the world doing all sorts of things "In the name of Jesus!"; and television and the internet are rife with "evangelists" allegedly casting out demons and healing people. Yes these "christians" are doing many thingsBut here's what they're NOT doing: Look at verse 21 "...but he that doeth the will of my father which is in heaven..."Ok, so Jesus out of his mouth, (and many bibles print his words in RED so you'll know that he is the one speaking them) says "my father who is in heaven..."
Notice that I repeated the "Father" thing. That's the lead-in to a major point. NONE of these "prophets, evangelists, healers, and exorcists"are actually giving ANY emphasis, attention, or credence to that Father who Jesus said was in heaven at the time he was speaking. Instead, they persist and insist on calling Jesus the father and God himself. Question: who was Jesus praying to in the garden of Gethsemane? Now, it's important that I now stress that No one can approach the father unless they go through Jesus; so all the fanatics who are chomping at the bit to accuse me of denying Jesus can be encouraged to shut your mouth and read on...Truth Is...
*Truth Is... You keep getting on this same subject over and over again! WHY? Why? Because I am supposed to! As a lover of the truth and true servant of God I genuinely care that the truth be told and presented to as many people as possible. It is important to me that you realize that there is a VERY short period of time remaining for you to get the right and accurate knowledge and understanding of what God and jesus want you to know and do because your life and salvation as well as that of everyone you love is in jeopardy if you don't adhere to it. Think about the people in Noah's day who had many years to listen to the message Noah preached, but chose to ignore it until it was much too late. Noah could'nt open those doors if he wanted to; there were little old ladies and babies! (sidebar: These are actualy eligible for the ressurection, so don't go into the heartless God thing)But in the final day there will be noone givne a second chance, this is it! Why?because those people back then did'nt have what we have now: Jesus has come and given us redemtion, the TRUTH has be spread worldwide, and all that God had prophesied has come about; there are NO excuses! So yes, it is a matter of emergency; so as far as my repeating things goes, if someone saw an asteroid, tornado, or rampant fire blazing it's way toward you, would'nt you want them to tell you? I'm sounding the alarm!!!
Now, where were we? Even though you weren't taught it in church(go figure), one of the major things that Jesus did is proclaim and promote God and his name. Again read with me Jesus' own words(in red for some of you) at John 17:" ...Father, the time has come; glorify thy Son, that thy son may glorify you"; Jesus' main concern was glorifying God, and informed here that this was the MAIN purpose of his mission; redemption of mankind was an auxiliary benefit actually. Verse:"Thou has given him(the son) power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given to him..." Again Jesus informs that he is NOT the ultimate authority in the equation; saying the power he possessed was actually GIVEN to him. He did'nt give it to himself.(common sense, if you don't use it you'll lose it!).
Verse 3: "...and this means eternal life: that they take in knowledge of you, the ONLY true God..." Jesus didn't say "us" the only true God or God's(sort of screws-up the trinity...hey Jesus said this not me!). Then he adds "...AND Jesus Christ whom thy hast sent..."Verse 4: "I have glorified thee on earth..." which informs us that he preached about God a lot.
*Sidebar: the Pharisees wore breastplates holding God's name YHWH or Jehovah as we know it; this was a sacred name to them and it was generally not spoken aloud around gentiles(They were living in captivity after all). But Jesus openly used God's name and was thus reviled for doing-so as he didn't discriminate as to where or to whom he did use it. Yet another reason they resented him. Ony one weilding great authoriy would dare go against the Pharisees(clergy), much less defy, refute and rebuke them! But Jesus had great authority! Truth Is...
Jesus had an existence well before man was even thought of. Colossians 1:15 tells us that:"He is the firstborn of every creation..." What does this mean? For one it explicitly states that Jesus was created! YES!!! This refutes the long-standing lie that Jesus is GOD Almighty. Let's take a look at a well-used scripture verse: John 3:16..."For God so loved the world that He gave his only Begotten son..." you see this? The word begotten means "given birth to". Jesus was born or created as it were by God(Jehovah) Hey Jesus said this not me!
The above rendition of John 3:16 has been altered in more recent bible translations to say:"...only son..."; why? Because the traditional lie that Jesus is God himself has been propigated for so long that people will not accept anything else. Rather than admit the error of this doctrine and risk losing members(funding), ministers continue to promote this blatant lie disregarding the fact that they are actually perpetuating the blinding of God's sheep and mis-teaching them , ingraining untruths into the hearts of many whom are otherwise sincere about serving God. Thus jeopardizing not only their salvation but that of their families.Oh but there shall be a terrible price to pay. Luke 17:2 speaks that anyone who commits and offense(this has also been translated as "stumbling") toward or against one of "these little ones(Jesus' sheep) it would be better for them to have a millstone tied about their neck and have it cast into the sea! WOW!!! For those of you that have no idea of the magnitude of this statement, allow me to clarify : a millstone was a very large rock with a hole drilled through it and then tied to one or more oxen( very powerful beasts of burden) who would then be led around in circles as the stone also mounted atop a stone floor would grind grain into meal(corn meal, flour, etc) to say that the average millstone weighed at the least as much as say an SUV would not be an exagerration! So Pastors, Preachers and priests, please remember that every time you sit up teaching the lies to the people in your church whom you claim as brothers whom you love! You are being fitted for your millstone as we speak!
But you folks who accept this nonsense are equally wrong in a way! You don't really READ your bible and when and if you do the question always arises where it simply does not make sense to say that Jesus is Almighty God when 1) he prayed to God constantly and submitted to God's will even against his own. 2) He repeatedly referred to Jehovah as being "My Father", 3) He never claimed to be God Almighty, and 4) He asked God(Jehovah) to seat him at his right hand. He did'nt ask himself to seat himself beside himself and to even accept such rhetoric is ridiculous and dangerously inane(silly). God did grant us common sense and all we need do is USE IT! The simplest mind can perceive the truth if they seriously try to as Jehovah will help you if you ask(Matthew 7:7-11)ASK! He is the ultimate Father!!!
Back to John 17...
Verse 6"...I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me..." This tells that Jesus also made certain to establish not just God's purpose, but also his name with his followers; that's why I am endeavoring to do the same today although you, the readers are not MY followers, but his.(Jesus').
Now back to Collosians 1:16 where we are told:...by him were all things created that are in heaven and are in earth, whether they be visible or invisible thrones or dominions or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him." What does this mean?
Using the wonderful gift of common sense again we realize that Jesus was first created or begotten by God(Jehovah) then empowered by God(Jehovah) to create everything else. This makes a lot more sense than the "because he's god he can do anything double-talk you get in church when they try to explain the trinity and can't explain the many scriptures that refute that doctrine. Jesus created everything:EVERYTHING else, including Satan and all there is that God hasn't revealed to us there exist as we simply are not worthy of that knowledge at this point given our imperfect state and the need for us to have our situation here on earth resolved first. But Jesus being a creator is actually "a" god; but NOT ALMIGHTY GOD.
Is this blasphemy? Only if the bible is blaphemous! Turn to 1 Corinthians 1524-28 read this and see that it tells you that Jesus himself with submit himself to God(Jehovah) so that God can be all to all(Everyone's God including Jesus') Look at 1 Peter 1::"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abunant mercy has begotten us again unto livley hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead..."; it does NOT say that Jesus raised himself from the dead, it does not say that some triune god raised a portion or segment of himself. Now this is GOD'S word speaking these things and no way does he blaspheme against himself. No, there are no contradictions in the bible just contrivances of men who attempt to manipulate that word of God and the people that look to him for hope.*(I suggest you read the series by truth Is... on Today's Pastors and Preachers: Modern Day Pharisees).
So this first(yes, there's always going to be a follow-up article) installment has given you quite a look at who Jeus really is and also who he is not. Read then re-read this article as you await the next:Should we pray to Jesus?
