Jesus is the Elephant in the room .... What will you do with Him?
The Elephant in the room.
All of us must tackle at some point the very compelling question of Jesus, who He is, what He did and what we will do with Him? I think in so many ways He is our destiny. You may even be able to avoid these questions for a very long time but eventually you will have to address Him and address exactly what your belief is comprised of and what you are made of. God tells us very directly and distinctly that He does not want fence sitters and that you are either for Him or against Him. There is no in between so if you are not for Him then you are against Him. I recently saw a quote which said, the Devil whispers in your ear, " You cannot handle the storm." The Warrior replies, " I am the storm." God will empower you to face any obstacle in life if you so choose to let Him work. He is bigger than and better than anything that we can even imagine. Ultimately He gives us grace and mercy. His grace and mercy not ours.
Understand that He is obviously " all in " when it comes to loving you. He certainly does not do anything including loving you half way. He loves you all the way. Even to the cross His love for you is undeniable. So the only question that remains is what will you do with this Elephant in the room? What will you do with Jesus? Will you embrace and accept His amazing gift of salvation and redemption? Or will you sit on the fence and avoid His amazing gift? Or perhaps you will even choose to not believe and never worship Him. Make no mistake about it though, He is indeed our Savior and our King and is to be completely worshipped and cherished by each and every one of our sinful selves. His love for you is downright immense and completely off the charts. What will you do with Him? Get to know Him. Here are some verses to consider:
John 1:1 In the beginning was the Word and the Word was with God and the Word was God.
John 10:30 I and the Father are one.
Colossians 2:9 For in Him ( Jesus) dwelleth all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.
1st John 5:7 "For there are three that bear record in Heaven, the Father, the Word , and the Holy Ghost: and THESE THREE ARE ONE."
Hebrews1:8 But unto the Son God saith, "Thy throne, O God, is forever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom."
1st John 4:10 "Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His son to be the propitiation for our sins."
God bless always.
