John 3:16

Updated on November 27, 2012

John 3:16

John 3:16 is perhaps the most inspirational and famous verse from the Bible. We see people holding up poster boards with it written in bold letters, we even see athletes writing in on their equipment. But what makes this verse just so special?

John 3:16 (New International Version)

"For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

John 3:16 - The Numbers of Hope By Max Lucado

Kerusso John 3:16 T-Shirt

John 3:16 sums up the simple truth of the Gospel in one verse. Wearing this shirt is a way to share the love of God.

This stylish Christian t-shirt by Kerusso is black with the scripture reference in big gray lettering. The letter "O" in John is a picture of the Earth.

John 3:16 Christian Hat

This John 3:16 hat is styled after the fashion of John Deer. The green and Yellow collers will remind people of the John Deer Logo. But isnead of seeing John Deer, they will see Christ carrying the burden of the Cross.

Underneath the picture of Jesus is John Three Sixteen spelled out. This is a great looking Christian hat with a powerful Bible verse.

My favorite version is the Amplified: "For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in [trusts in, clings to, relies on] Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life." I enjoyed our video very much--sweet! I saw you over at Tipi's and followed you home (sisters). I'm not a member, but I can pray blessing upon you!
