Leaves Will Fall and Then...

Updated on February 18, 2016

Leaves fall, and then...

On the days of joy and plenty

When our hearts are full

We barely think of shadows cover

Clouding all the bull

Why oh weary heart must we

Feel the pain of time

When all we really want is for

Our Godly light to shine

There is not one, born in Him,

Who will avoid the arrow

They will just be carried

When, the road is bout to narrow

They stand the test the same as all

It‘s just they may be blessed

As they have called upon His name

To gently give them rest

While standing on His Solid Rock

They steady in their stance

They turn it over once again

It is their only chance

Even though His Grace is theirs

They still may suffer doubt

Their faith is shaken like a tree

And leaves may fall about

But as we know He gathers up

Each and every one

Each fallen piece is then reused

To Glorify His Son

We are sinners one and all

We walk upon the earth

We are here to glorify

The One of greatest worth

Soon after that, we realize

His teachings are our food

That He suffered, died and rose again

Because our God is Good

We also know we will mess up

Not always get it right

But Father is a loving God

And He will help us fight

We will ask for Him to guide

Each and every fallen leaf

Even those that try to hide

Some weak in their belief

We will gain our strength at last

Summer, Autumn, Winter, Spring

As the seasons come to pass

Reminds us of one thing

He sees you in your glory and

He sees you in your pain

He loves you like a child

He loves us all the same

So when the seasons come and go

And leaves may fall about

Remember, God is reaching down

And helping figure out

Which of the leaves that come to fall

Will He leave upon the ground

None for He is full of grace

And brings the season's round

The cycle may seem to go

Without a certain hitch

But Jesus is, forever friend,

Never leaves you in a ditch

which of the leaves that come to fall

will He leave upon the ground

None for He is full of grace

      And brings the seasons round

Wonderful words in a brilliant poem.

Take care and enjoy your day.
