Keep Pressing Forward

Updated on March 6, 2014

God works miracles!

I was saved on December 26, 2009.

Since then my health has gotten better. I am currently experiencing the best health I have in years! Every challenge we face can be lessened by the grace of God. When we keep Him in mind we can face anything with confidence.

Sometimes people wonder why I have so little fear. Well, in II Tim 1:7 "For the Lord hath not given us the spirit of fear but of power and of love and of a sound mind."

Some people say, "Well, as long as it (faith) helps you that's great, whether it's true or not."

Well, I can tell you it's true but you wouldn't know or believe me unless you experienced it yourself. So, if you're down, or discouraged, and need God why don't you pray to Him and ask Him to help you, sincerely. I promise you that if you are sincere, your prayer will be answered. For the bible says, "Ask and you shall receive."

God is pleasured by giving us grace and pleasures in loving us and getting our love in return, 1,000,000 times over and over more than a parent is to their child, if you can imagine.

What a grace. What a blessing. To have Christ in your life, to talk to (speak to), to think of, to feel good about and comforted by. Scripture is the "sword of the spirit" in which to overcome doubt and depression so why not read it today?! I'll tell you, it's a lot nicer than swallowing pills for depression! And more lasting and effective with great side effects like increase in grace and peace of mind!!!

NOTE: This is not advice to get off pills, but an emphasis on tapping into Spirituality.

Yes it is important to study the scriptures....To implement it..well, as saved people, God is there always to guide, we just have to be willing and ask. Willing is the key word here. And put in the effort and time as well. It will happen! if we keep pressing on!!

Yes, we do need to apply them in our own lives. Some to recover from past hurts, most do actually. Jesus will wipe clean the past.!

      Thank you for your comment!

Hello Jackie, nice to see you, thank you! Since 12?! That's great! Yes, I understand that feeling, it has taken almost five years though for me to get to this point. Sometimes that happens, in my case, it took a while to get the right medical treatment for one. I'm reading a book called "Enjoying God" (now). It points out how many saved people don't get the fullness of their spirit enlightened right away. I pray more people will and read Ephesians, which is the book of love, Amen sister.

To know the Scriptures is one thing, and very important. To implement the learning, advice, and commandments from the Scriptures is so much more important. Only when we apply them in our own lives can we see the results. Only when we learn to show compassion for others can we see the results we are intended to have. This Hub gives the starting points, the glory is in the ongoing journey.

Beautiful testimony; thanks for sharing that and so true of course, we are never alone who have Jesus as our Savior. He has been by my side since I was about 12. I knew Him before that but that was when I was saved and there is no explaining that feeling but no need to; to the ones who know Him.

Have seen this video before, it is very beautiful too. ^+
