Kingdom Worshippers

Kingdom Worshippers Identity, Purpose and Worship

Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth”.

Ezekiel 28:13Thou hast been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone [was] thy covering, the sardius, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of thy tabrets (tambourines) and of thy pipes was prepared in thee in the day that thou wast create”.

For us to be the kind of worshippers the Father is seeking we must first understand who God is, and who we are in Him.

The Essence of who God is, is Spirit. The Nature and Character of who God is, is embodied in the word Father. The word Father in the Hebrew is Pater and means ‘Originator of a family, nourisher, protector and upholder’. From the beginning it was the original intention and plan of the Father to have a family of fathers and sons on earth who would be exactly like Him in nature and character and rule on earth as He ruled in heaven.

Adam proceeded from the Father and that is why Adam’s identity was first and foremost spirit; although he was a living soul and lived in a body, he was made in Gods image and likeness. God’s image and likeness is Spirit, Light and Glory. Adam’s original covering was the Spirit, Light and Glory of his Father. God then placed Adam in the East of the garden of Eden (Paradise) which is a type of God’s Kingdom. Adam was God’s son and functioned in this context as a ruler and the son of God. In the Hebrew, the word son is Ben meaning ‘Builder of the Family name’. It was God’s ultimate intention through Adam, the Patriarch (Father) of humanity and his descendants that the Kingdom of God would come on earth as it existed in heaven, through the Kingdom model of family.

In Ezekiel 28v13 we read that Adam was also given the role and function of a High Priest. Embedded in the internal structure of Adam were precious stones which covered him; these stones are symbolic of the High priestly order of which Adam was created to represent. These stones represent the families, tribes and nations which would descend from Adam’s gemstones which are also found on the breastplate of the High Priest in Moses’s Tabernacle and Solomon’s Temple and is also pictured in the book of Revelation as the foundation stones of the New Jerusalem (The Fathers House, The Body of Christ).

In the Fathers original plan, man was created with the inclination and the ability for music and sound and resonate the Voice of his Father. Adam had this inclination for rhythm and music built into his original design. When he fellowshipped and walked with the Lord, he resonated and released new melodies and songs to the Lord. From the beginning he was created perfect in beauty and is called the anointed covering cherub (represents redeemed human beings in union with Christ, a union seen figuratively proceeding out of the mercy seat) which is also a type of the evolving nature of man.

Adam’s identity was spirit and created as a light bearer (Lucifer), his purpose was to have dominion and to be a high priest and Adam was created with the innate ability to worship the Lord musically and in spirit (identity) and truth (based on accurate doctrine)

The Process of a Becoming a Worshipper

Romans 12:1-2 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, [which is] your reasonable service. And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, ts that ye may prove what [is] that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.’

Gal 5:16-17[This] I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusteth against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh: and these are contrary the one to the other: so that ye cannot do the things that ye would.

Now that we have established our identity, purpose and how we have been created to worship; let us look at the process of becoming a worshipper.

The key to understanding the process of becoming a worshipper God desires is that we have to understand that two natures are resident within us. The first nature living in us is the carnal, fleshly nature, living in our soul, called the fallen Adamic nature. This sin nature is resident in all humanity. The second nature living in us is the Christ nature, living in us through the Holy Spirit in our spirit when we are born again by the Holy Spirit. These two natures are constantly at war within us.

The sin nature, the flesh or the old man as the Bible refers to it, is constantly seeking to draw attention to itself through self-promotion, self-protection, and self-worship. This Adamic nature seeks to glorify the ‘I’ (The ‘I wills’ in Isaiah 14) and attract worship to itself. This fallen nature is our greatest enemy.

God, the Father takes us through various tests, trials, tribulations and even persecutions in order to bring our Adamic nature under the dominance and supremacy of His Holy Spirit. There is a baptism of fire which every true worshipper of the Father needs to go through. This process is designed to conform us to the image of Christ. Through these processes God the Father shapes us and transforms us into the fullness of the stature of the perfect man who is Christ.

During our journey we must fully endure these processes of transformation and conformation, because it is a process initiated by the Holy Spirit and is vital for our spiritual development and maturing into becoming the son of God the Father desires us to be. In this context even our adversary and the accuser who is a spirit being created by God is used to test us and perfect us. Every true worshipper of God the Father must overcome the flesh (Adamic nature), the world and our adversary the devil and die to self in order to become the worshipper God desires.

This process of purification is needed to form you into the perfect sacrifice God desires. God the Father is not after your ability to create music, write songs or get onto a stage and put your gifts on display. He is after you, He is jealous for you, He desires a relationship with you and will use any means at His disposal to form His nature and character in you and bring you to the place where only Christ is seen through you and your relationship with Him is restored and whole.

The Worshippers the Father is seeking

John 4:23-24But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him must worship in spirit and in truth”.

God is not looking for worship He is seeking true worshippers. God’s original intent and purpose is that you are placed in His Kingdom Family within the context of the corporate House of God where you would manifest the nature and character of Christ (the prototype and exact representation of the Father). God is now unveiling this new breed of worshipper who has gone through the processes of purification and have come to a place of submission and obedience to the will of the Father.

These worshippers that the Father is now revealing have an understanding of their identity and live out their sonship, they know God as Father, and they are engaging a process of conformation and transformation through the application of apostolic doctrine (the word of God) to their lives and are focused on inward transformation.

True worshippers in the context of the Kingdom of God (His Family in heaven and on earth) are defined as sons of God who are fully submitted in love and in the Spirit of the Lord to a spiritual father and function in their identity as spiritual beings within the context of the Household of Faith. Authentic worship in spirit and truth is defined as worship which is directed and led by the Holy Spirit and based on accurately interpreted, understood and applied apostolic doctrine.

In this season we will see and witness the revealing of the sons of God who are also true worshippers of God. True worshippers, who do not seek fame, recognition, accolades or the applause of man. Worshippers of the Father who do not need a stage to put themselves on display. Worshippers whose value system prioritizes the seeking of the Kingdom of God and His righteousness above every Adamic ambition or desire. Worshippers who know what it means to die daily, by putting to death the Adamic and soulish nature which is at constant war with the Holy Spirit within us and submitting to God completely in soul and body.

These are the worshippers who God is seeking after and are now being revealed who will worship the Father in spirit and in truth. These are the sons of the Kingdom who resonate the voice of the Father through spontaneous and structural expressions of music, singing, dancing and all forms of creative arts. We are all called to be this kind of worshipper who is born again by the Holy Spirit, placed in the Body of Christ by the Father and are empowered by the Holy Spirit to manifest the nature and character of Christ. We have been translated from being orphans to being sons of Light and citizens of the Kingdom of God.
