Everything Is In Motion All the Time----What About Your Attention Span? What About an Unfolding Outcome in your Life? Is Kismet In Your Movie?

KISMET and "Providence"

We borrowed Kismet from Turkish in the 1800s, but it ultimately derives from the Arabic --"GISMA", meaning "portion" or "lot."

In the 1700's in America, the word "Providence" was used in a much broader and all encompassing way.

The meaning is the same today, but in the past there was much more of a "Guiding Hand" idea.

As with any word that is less than 200 years old, change can evolve. This Article's Suggestion is that Kismet can have it's own meaning for you.

Accidental Happenstance Or Divine Hand?

Through that spooky, other worldly, fantastical process. or magic that we call, or might call ----- everyday magic is, because there is not another word like it---KISMET; we must turn to see that magical process, so that we can then see that our life---is not accidental happenstance, but having a divine hand.

Stop Giving Life The Back of Your Hand

The first thing you must do, with your own life, is start seeing the small in the big, the incidental in the total plot. The other is to stop giving your life the back of your hand.

Your life is "nothing, right?" Is the Divine involved? 5% of the time? Only when you were not killed in that head on collision? Only partly, if you go to Church every now and again? What if the word Kismet was invented just so 5 unrelated things could all play together to show how the Divine Hand works in your Life all the time?

When People Focus With Concentration On A Desired Outcome

Kids that desperately want high grades, acceptance into schools or achievements do become "caught up" in the realization of a providential realization.

Youth goes crazy with Achievement. It feels to them like they are "touching God".

As we become older and our internal chemistry "ages". we tend to come off of these heights. But there are circuits of desire that tend to live inside us that are hoping for divine experiences.

Kismet - as Unavoidable as Life

Timing. We give it many names:

Destiny, Fate, Kismet, the will of God.

Whatever we call it, lives are changed and molded by it, in small or drastic ways beyond our control.

The precise, exquisite influence of timing moves people into new positions as surely as a spring flood rearranges the landscape.

It is as unavoidable as life.

Helen Van Slyke

"Across A Crowded Room---And Somehow You Know" --- One Enchanted Evening

This one song turned people into spooky mystical Lovers --- who prodded themselves into delivering secret looks to total strangers. Romance slithers up and down us like our Vegas nerve looking for stimulating, arousing, meaningful messages that can elevate our lives.

If You Have a Problem with Negativity...

The Apostle Paul wrote a series of winding positive declarations that seem to rise and keep rising. Note as you read that they seem to give an upward and onward quality: Likewise the Spirit also helps our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, because he makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestine to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.
Moreover whom he did predestine, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified.

What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?

Elevate Your Radar of Providence. Let Kismet Flourish.

Note "Happy Outcomes" that until then you had not bothered to worry about.

Rejoice when a long Feared Result did not Manifest..

When a Negative Situation does not strangle you, but slithers away, Rejoice.

A Long Ago Friend Comes Into Your Life. Live the Joy!

A Wondrous Feeling swirls in your Heart. Breathe Deeply. Extend Your Kismets.
