If you are not familiar with Pamela Geller, she is a tireless fighter against the Islamic creep of Sharia Law into our country. You can find her at every demonstration in which Americans are confronted by Muslims who want to implement Sharia Law in our country.

She demonstrated against the ground zero mosque, against building a mosque in a quiet New York neighborhood and for the King hearings. She speaks publicly, attends forums, runs a website, and stands up for the oppressed, Jews and for Muslim women.

Pamela was born in l958 , grew up in Long Island and is the single mother of four and is a blogger, activist and public speaker primarily concerned with the creep of Islam. She is co-founder of Freedom Defense Initiative and Stop Islamization of America and co –authored a book, The Post American Presidency: The Obama Administratiaon’s War on America.

As of last fall her blog, Atlas Shrugs was receiving one million unique visitors each month.

One of her battles is to advertise sanctuary for Muslim women that need to escape the terror they face in their homes from Sharia Law. She wanted these signs on buses, taxis and anywhere they would be visible and offer help to those wanting to leave Islamic religion.

Rifqa Bary was such a young girl who wanted to leave Islam and be a Christian and she boarded a bus and ran away from home. She was convinced she would be killed by her father.

Facebook was immediately blanketed with threats in Arabic such as the following:

Rifqa Bary is the highest value target in America. Apostasy is the most egregious crime against Islam. Her crime is not just against the family it is against Islam.”

So determined were Muslims to stop this young woman from leaving this religion a fatwa calling for her death was issued from Cairo University, the most important institution of Islamic law.

This is the University where Obama gave a speech and said, "For over a thousand years, Al-Azhar has stood as a beacon of Islamic learning, and for a century Cairo University has been a source of Egypt’s advancement.”

Advancement??? Leaving the faith of Islam is punishable by death. It was this threat that prompted Pamela Geller to want signs put up on Detroit buses offering help to these young women. These signs were allowed on buses in New York, Miami and San Francisco because of free speech laws, but were banned in Detroit Michigan. By banning the signs Detroit denied their own guidelines, which are the following:

As a governmental agency that receives state and federal funds, SMART is mandated to comply with federal and state laws. First Amendment free speech rights require that SMART not censor free speech and because of that, SMART is required to provide equal access to advertising on our vehicles.

To comply with these requirements, SMART has in place advertising guidelines for which all advertisements are reviewed against. Any such advertising which does not violate the SMART advertising guidelines or the law must be posted. Advertising posted on SMART property does not always reflect the views or opinions of SMART, its employees or riders.

So Ms. Geller sued the city of Detroit in May 2010 and showed up in court with hundreds of photos of murdered and abused Muslims.

The courts have stalled for almost a year.

Today Rifka Bary is free and the ten million dollar lawsuit against Pamela Geller for helping Rifka has been terminated.

Nicely written article on this growing concern. This is one of the issues I tackle in Seeds from Heaven. In preparation for the series I studied the life of Mohammad and it was an eye opener. Thanks for the letter and the kind words.

Our fearless leaders don't seem to think it's a problem. Obama has Muslims in his administration.

Yes, we have a Muslim problem in America, and we had better address it.

If we don't wake up soon we will suffer the same fate as France. In less than 50 years France will be a Muslim country and it is already too late to do anything about it.
